  1. After my dad's second divorce he was juggling 3 or 4 different women. He would spend the weekend with one then Sunday evening part ways and spend a couple days with the next one and so on. One day I went with him and one of his girlfriends to the grocery store. I walked off to go find something, saw one of his other girlfriends down another isle (one who he had just spent the weekend with and dropped off a few hours prior) and went back to my dad to discreetly let him know Linda was 3 aisles over. He immediately announced we had enough groceries and it was time to check out. Which totally wasn't suspicious at all considering we were only about half way through the store but his companion didn't seem to suspect anything. He made it out unscathed. One of his girlfriends could see his driveway from her upstairs bathroom. They didn't live that close to each other but he lived on Padre Island and there just happened to be a clear view down the main canal and across several empty lots across the half mile or so to the front of dad's house. My dad noted she had a pair of binoculars in this upstairs bathroom. She obviously was aware of who and when his other pieces were at his house so most of the time he stayed at their houses. Dad finally ended all but one of these relationships. He told me that he couldn't handle the stress of juggling these ladies and it was causing his hair to fall out.
  2. less than 1 a month without any slumps
  3. 2 day later and no one is talking about this...

  5. Johnny? You're not still mad I stuffed your mom at our parent/teacher conference all those years ago, are you?
  6. I've also taught in my life at the high school level and I don't know what she's doing different. I never took work home. Is she in elementary? I've noticed that the admins at the elementary level get quite a bit more traction bullying teachers into volunteering more of their personal time when they have no contractual obligation to do so.
  7. Teachers work 8 1/2 months a year. They underwork too. edit: for the pearl clutchers reacting unfavorably. I earned this opinion. I've taught at the high school level and its the easiest job I ever had.
  8. Are we venerating Saint Lauren now as our patron saint of the portal? because I’m all for it
  9. APEX online credit recovery or something similar. Its what the fuck ups take to graduate. its a joke
  10. someone should shop QE's mullet onto this guys face. He'd look better Lawn Mower
  11. My daughter has decided to attend Alabama next year. She has great grades but not good enough to get into Texas like her brother. She doesn't want to go to A&M, Tech, UTSA etc. She was accepted to TCU and seriously considered it but Alabama wants her enough that they are giving her a $60k scholarship, accepted her into their honors college and into the program where she gets a bachelor and MBA in 5 years. My sister in law who lives in the Frisco/Prosper area says a large chunk of those grads head east to the SEC schools and two of her kids went to Alabama.
  12. Anyone remember the institutional fixture, Nancy, at Papagallos
  13. That was definitely part of the Penn State equation.
  14. I went to watch it with the family and some of the kid's friends at Alamo. I know there were a ton of references I didn't get because I'm not a Marvel geek but I had seen all the Toby Mcguire Spiderman movies. What IS annoying is my kids demanding we sit through the entire credit scroll so we can see the after scenes while the alamo employees are sweeping around your feet and otherwise making you feel you've overstayed. They're never worth it.
  15. Is spinning an important component to this plan?
  16. I can see a scenario, if Ewers’ transfer was indeed some amount a consequential part for causing the o-line windfall and altering the perceived recruiting direction of the program, that without Ewers coming to Texas, you definitely don’t get Arch later. I think a QB like Arch, who envisions very little bench development, wants there to be linemen already on campus developing and capable of solid protection when he takes his first snaps. But what do I know?
