  1. I really don’t know. I’m just an observer here in the land of “roll tide” everything.
  2. I got back from buying popcorn for Mrs TDL and everyone was lighting up and I asked if they had done some fireworks or something. It was cigar smoke. Im not going to lie, the whole atmosphere was pretty cool
  3. Apparently, whoever wins this games lights em up. But only this matchup
  4. My typing sucks but yeah
  5. Fans boo anytime there’s an injured volunteer. Weird and shitty
  6. I saw him catching punts before the second half started. Laughing with my son and feeling horrible about it
  7. Currently attending this game. Atmosphere is fine but not epic. I’m surprised they do the same thing aggy does after every first down (that’s a fightin’ Texas aggy first down).by announcing it and everyone yells, of course, “roll tide”. It’s a 1st down guys.
  8. I do, but he’s a worrier like his mom.
  9. My son, who is senior (at Texas) currently applying to grad schools, has complained since his freshman year about UT's grade scale to GPA and how it makes his GPA look worse than someone applying from another school, like A&M. Here is the scale for Texas. His main beef is that A- isn't a 4 A 4 A- 3.67 B+ 3.33 B 3 B- 2.67 C+ 2.33 C 2 C- 1.67 D+ 1.33 D 1 D- 0.67 Here is aggy: Letter Grade Grade Points A 4.00 B 3.00 C 2.00 D 1.00 F 0.00 U 0.00
  10. How’s that guy’s eye that got busted up in the bathroom by midget wrestlers.
  11. Is Torchy’s an example of good food moving in? I guess it would be an improvement regardless
  12. You have some weak shit-talk.
  13. Well, I happen to love the South Texas brush country, the hill country, the west Texas desert, coastal humidity, hot summers. BUT, I do know what you mean. The older I get the more open I am to moving to a more beautiful place. Preferably the Caribbean.
  14. I already tried Colorado, as a kid. I moved back to Texas as soon as I could. I love Colorado but I just hate being that kind of cold. But I lived up in the mountains when I was there. Snow cover for 6-7 months of the year. Nope
  15. That’s pretty funny. Hopefully they can import a couple Mexican ladies from south of I-10 to teach them how to do it right
  16. I really wish CU would get their shit together. It was more fun when they were good.
  17. I lived in the central part of Colorado when I was in high school and remember the food being so bad everywhere in Colorado. The Mexican food was heavily influenced by Santa Fe style (failed in execution). There was some gimmick Mexican food place in Denver that was sort of like rain forest cafe but they had cliff divers and fire dancers performing like it was a luau. It was “the place” that everyone said to go to. Casa Bonita or Blanca or something like that. It’s been at least 30 years. this South Texan was unimpressed
  18. well, she's a missionary, so she makes all sorts of choices that I can't wrap my head around. But she's probably the best person I know. They both are.
  19. my Brother-in-law, who I love and is one of the best people on the planet, keeps sending me shit about the win. The weird part is he went to Tech, but I guess 25 years of being married to my aggy sister has brainwashed him. All four of their kids went/are going to A&M. They’re all very tolerable, especially my sister who thought it was bullshit that they left for the SEC. but this is his only way to pick at me and my son since tech is a disaster so I’ll let him have his moment. He pretty good natured about it
  20. an aggy friend posted Roll tears Roll on his FB this morning so I’m sure it real. the amount of embarrassed I’d be if Texas did this if we’d beaten OU yesterday, tells me it’s real.
  21. It is if logic and reason aren’t tools in your thinking skills
