  1. It appears the reports of Longhorn Baseball's death have been greatly exaggerated.
  2. Hopefully Gordon doesn't have ptsd.
  3. I'm good with that considering Faltine was 100% going to strikeout.
  4. Barbacoa should be helpful and delicious.
  5. Glad I've also been watching the softball game. We're gonna lose, but some of the ladies....
  6. Yea, make the guy throw at least one strike.
  7. Forecast for this evening is getting better.
  8. Looks like last season, at least it's with the pitching as well so far.
  9. If it's anything like the last series, they will go 8-for-10 today.
  10. Fun being on the other side of a pitching meltdown.
  11. If we don't get 2-3 here.....
  12. Duplainter needs Fatterson's towel guy.
  13. My wife is definitely an Originalist.
  14. DC is more valuable in RF with his speed. Our pitchers throw meatballs, we're not getting our shit pushed in b/c of groundballs and failed DPs.
  15. Daly is so bad at the plate though, and we're gonna need to score 9-10 runs a game to win against good teams. If we were pitching worth a shit, then I'd definitely leave Daly in there.
  16. Time to take out the weekend's frustration on these poor souls.
  17. Yea, that Sunday when Pierce treated it like a midweek game against UCLA was the start.
  18. That inning sums up the last few months or so.
  19. Can't blame Pierce for that one.
  20. Fuck it, let's make him the Friday guy.
  21. Lmao, a little late for that. You keep on fucking that chicken believing there was more meat on that bone.
  22. Yea, that makes sense. It's just funny seeing the same narrative over and over that the Cowboys could've gotten more for the trade. From who? Some imaginary team? There hasn't been a single shred of evidence that anyone else was willing to pay more. Anything else is just straight wishcasting. Something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it.
  23. The front office is dogshit, but you're living in a fantasy if you think they took the first offer real quick. It was known after the end of the season that he was gone. Plenty of teams had the opportunity to get him and they didn't. Why? Because he wasn't worth more than a 5th round pick. Trades are about supply and demand, or getting lucky and finding an idiot team to pay way more than they're worth. His salary was becoming fully guaranteed so they didn't have the luxury of waiting around forever until they got a better offer.
