Oh, shit, yeah. Still, pretty questionable call imo. I can’t imagine getting much value on river

A dude led $100 into 7 people and another called $100 with 5 left to act on the turn, they are likely to have hands that will payoff. Also possible that they both have strong hands on the board you don't hit on, and all 3 players put stacks in on river, and you and whoever wins the other board chop the 3rd guy's money up. Also you are closing the action. I'd say much more reasonable fold if you are, say, UTG+1, and may be forced to call off stack on turn with no implied odds helping your equity.

  2. Just hit the Whataburger in Burnet. Holy crap, they’re a well-oiled machine. I walk in and order a JCB combo. I was still filling my coffee cup when they handed me my bag. Perfect JCB sammich, in and out in 2 minutes.

We hit that one a decent amount post-golf and it is good for sure.
  3. Saw this with the wife and kids at Mueller Alamo last night. Phenomenal movie, drills the 70s vibe to a T, and a nice solid build while keeping great pacing. Really good performances, particularly the lead and the young lady who plays Lilly. I know there's some hubbub about 3 seconds worth of AI-created title cards that the people who worked on the film then edited, but don't let that stop you from supporting independent filmmakers who made an excellent picture. Streams on Shudder starting April 19 if you miss it in theaters.

  4. Did you get a picture of the menu board/prices?  I was wondering where they were price wise these days.  They have always had lower than normal brisket prices in the past.  Meaning say $5 cheaper than most places it seemed.

I did not. The order I described plus two 20 Oz Coke Zero was $108. I know brisket is wagyu and was $36/lb and ribs/sausage were $24/lb. Single side $5, pint $9.

Got a late start due to several factors and arrived at Cattleack about 1155. Line was about 20 people deep and took 15-20 minutes to clear so not bad at all. Got two trinity plates which are 1/3lb brisket, a pork rib, and a link for $23 each. Pretty solid deal in today terms. Three diff link options. We went with the Triple B (beef, bacon, beer) and hatch chile cheese.

Sausage I would describe as good/fine. Pork ribs were large with a peppery crust with a hint of maybe cayenne. Very good. Brisket was pretty excellent, a step behind the very top places.

Also added 1/4 lb of pastrami brisket. It was good and interesting. I wouldn’t replace a brisket order with it but could replace pastrami with it if that makes sense. Would like to try it as a sandwich like a Reuben.

Also got the burnt ends beans which were great esp with the excellent cornbread. Got hatch mac n cheese which was solid/good but not life changing.

Finally got the crack cake and Oreo Reese’s pie but those haven’t been eaten yet ha.

Overall a strong entry in the 2nd tier of places in the state imo.

Forgive my ignorance. Does the sheet auto update?

I manually enter results on Sheet 3 (the team sheet) which then auto updates Sheet 2 which is everyone's picks, as well as Sheet 1 the leaderboard. You have to keep re-sorting Z to A if you want the leaderboard to stay in order.
