  1. Pending final audit, have 25 entries paying 60-30-10%. If we end up 26+ will pay 50-25-15-10.
  2. my picks: Houston Tennessee Creighton Auburn St. Mary's BYU Florida Nebraska Sparty Nevada Oregon James Madison Charleston Morehead St South Dakota State Wagner Wild Card: New Mexico
  3. looking at going to Cattleack tomorrow. I see they open at 10. How early do I need to get there to be sure they have everything? If I arrive at 10, what's the wait? Arrive at 11, too late? Or if not, approx wait? Thanks!
  4. In. Also, I am running the "pick a team on each seed line" contest for the 3rd straight year, BigOrange if you wanna do this let me know, and I'll send you $5 for the net difference in entries.
  5. See, too bad you weren't at Love Field, could've had the best BBQ in the world.
  6. Hey, really the only way to make Dickey's better is to have that Dickey's be in an airport.
  7. Plus people are often blinded by their own preferences and those around them. Most of us here love the top end BBQ and debating the finer points, but there are SO MANY people who think of a chopped beef sammich when they think of BBQ and they aren't trying to dust off $45 for a BBQ lunch, and for them if Rudy's isn't near, maybe Pok-E-Jo's or Dickey's is. I walked behind a woman at Love Field one time who said the Love Field Dickey's was her favorite BBQ place IN THE WORLD. These people exist.
  8. OK, we are back in on this! You select one team on every seed line (so a 1 seed, a 2 seed, a 3 seed, etc etc). You also pick a wild card team who is NOT in your original selections. So you will select 17 teams. The scoring is 1 point for a win in the 1st round, 3 for a win in the 2nd, 5 for a win in the S16, 7 for a win in the E8, 9 for a win in the F4, and 11 for a natty win PLUS the team's seed is added to each win. So you get 2 points if your 1 seed wins in the first round, and 15 if your 14 seed does. The First Four play-in games don't count, so for example if Pitt vs New Mexico is a 12 seed play-in game, you could pick the winner of Pitt/UNM (either before or after they play, totally fine for one of your picks to be "Pitt/UNM", but can't pick one of those teams and earn points for the play-in win. $25/entry, must pay and make selections by tipoff Thursday. I will share the Google Sheet with everyone by end of day Thurs and will post my own picks in the thread before tipoff so everyone knows I didn't just wait for the best picks. We had 23 entries last year, hoping we can surpass that this year. PM me to make picks and get payment details. LFG!
  9. Played my first-ever individual stroke play tournament yesterday. Fun experience! Shot 92 that could have been a lot better, hit a lot of good shots, but misses all just happened to find OB/penalty area which really racked it up. Chipped and putted my ass off, left myself a ton of 2-3 footers and didn't miss any, which is a bit tougher when you're in a "no gimmes" environment ha (not that I'd ever take a 3 foot gimme unless it was for triple or something). Was definitely proud that every single provisional or shot after a drop was a very good shot, didn't let one bad shot beat me twice. Playing another next Sunday, definitely looking forward to it.
  10. I got Stanley’s last week on a Wed night about 730. Pretty sure we had discussed the mushy ribs previously here. There still wasn’t enough chew imo but they weren’t mushy and lots better than I’d had before. Also got the beef fajita torta on a whim and enjoyed it a lot. Fairly heavy lime flavor in the meat so don’t get if you don’t like that.
  11. Rules of Evidence don't apply in small claims cases unless the judge expressly applies them for fairness to all parties, which is very very rare unless both parties agree.
  12. The pit room at City Market in Luling is still one of my absolute favorite places on earth.
  13. I buy this a good amount and we all like it.
  14. Okies love them some ketchup on fried okra.
  15. I’m betting turn for sure. As played, bet fold river seems def right. Maybe he had T9ss or A5s so wasn’t worried about a spade river. Agree with Lurch, it’s a rare 1/3 player who can bluff jam a river here. If he did, tip the cap, on to Cincinnati.
  16. Definitely one of those Chef Reactions "ehhhhh, that's like a 1, and ehhh I would definitely eat that"
  17. I bet UTG1 didn’t have AA. But I’m checking here and then betting river if it checks through and SB checks river.
  18. Check to UTG1 again for sure IMO
  19. 2024 WSOP schedule is out: https://www.wsop.com/tournaments/ Pretty annoyed, the only weekend I can likely be there is the $300 Gladiators shitshow. Would much much prefer the Mystery Millions, Milly Maker, Monster Stack, or the $800 Independence Day tourney.
  20. Hell yes. Damn that honey mustard was elite too.
  21. They had a coupon with free Mi Tienda Mexican or Salvadoran Sour Cream with purchase of their carnitas. Got the mexican sour cream and it's really good with some cilantro and onions on tacos.
