Now look, we've all called for meteor attacks before, but I don't think it's ever been as important as Thursday in Eagle Pass.
Meteor, earthquake, tornado, crazy cartel member with a rifle across the border, freak razor wire spool accident - I mean, I'm not picky ...

Someone needs to start digging who is making bank on this transports.
According to KXAN, most of the money has gone to Wynne Transportation, LLC, which was acquired by Avalon Motor Coaches, LLC back in Feb. 2023. Avalon Motor Coaches, LLC is a Texas company owned by Virgin-Fish, Inc., a California company. It looks like the president and owner is a guy named Jeff Brush. Wouldn't be surprised to see this guy somewhere on Abbott's donor list, but I didn't see anything on quick inspection.
Texas has paid more than $124M to bus 100K migrants to sanctuary cities (kxan.com)

Yeah see the problem there is that it's owned by MAL Inc., not Donald personally or any of the defendant entities in the NY case.
Via execution, you can only seize assets in the name of /titled to one of the defendants liable under the judgment.
If assets were placed in entities in the ordinary course of business (as opposed to moved around after the liability arose in a fraudulent transfer manner) there is very little you can do to get to them. About the best you can do is get at income or payments they throw off.
How many layers of ownership do you think they'd need to dig through to find Dotard owning something that owns/controls MAL? And is that equity ownership subject to offsetting debt? It would be worth the shits and giggles to try to figure out if Donald actually owns MAL (given all his bluster about its value), and if he does ultimately own indirectly all or substantially all of MAL, couldn't they seek recourse against that equity?

So to recap:
- Judgment against Trump in NY fraud case: $354m
- Judgments against Trump in Carroll case: $83m
- Judgment against Giuliani in Georgia case: $148m
- Fox settlement in Dominion case: $787m
- Fox judgment in Smartmatic case: ?
There may be something to this whole ETTD thing. Perhaps people will start recognizing the risks of parroting the shit that Trump throws out there?

Just exactly how many MAGAts do you think are watching Jon Stewart?
The problem is it only takes the one MAGAt to edit it to include only the Biden elements and slap an "Even Dem fanboi Jon Stewart thinks Biden has no business running for prez" label on it, and that shit will make the GQP bubble rounds so fast it'll make your head spin.
And that's not even the real problem - the real problem is that if he ends up convincing even a small chunk of the Dem base (specifically the younger voters) that it's not worth voting because both candidates are shitty, we're fucked.
While I normally love Jon, I thought it was a stupid fucking thing to do.

Sirs, this is the 2024 Presidential Election thread. Perhaps we can create a new thread to solve that whole racism thing - I'm sure you'll have it all figured out in a couple of pages ...

Yep - for those of us that quit Twitter, we don't see replies, including the remainder of threads. If it's a good thread, an unroll would be appreciated because a lot of us refuse to help Elmo's dumb ass out ...

I've been stabbed by a screwdriver before.
It's painful, but unless it's pretty sharp, it doesn't go that deep
Did you used to hang with Sgt Espera from Generation Kill?
Not sure that wisdom ("Generally, white people - they don't drag a dude behind a Tastee Freez and stab him to death with a screwdriver ...") is as solid with the current incarnation of MAGA crazies. Still, I love that guy's pontifications.

Also, if you're going to insult someone, just say it clearly like a fucking man.
It's all about retaining some plausible deniability for the evangelicals / Fatties of the world. I mean, everyone fucking knows what they mean with their generic white power symbols, "Let's go, Brandon", "See you next Tuesday" bullshit - they just want to be able to play the victim when someone actually tries to call them out for being the utter pieces of shit that they are.

Love that this guy didn't let her get away with trying to pull the same jedi mind trick - "I can't remember if I voted for it and I'm not going to acknowledge that I was in no way responsible for the vast majority of it, but let's keep going back to '$40m that I brought' ..." It's amazing that we have to praise journalists for not letting these jackhats get away with this, but kudos nonetheless and ...

And go ahead and drop a Tsar Bomba-size nuke on Tyler - no real need for any guidance in that part of Texas ...
