Aggy will hav the auburn wr enroll at blinn for a summer session, then transfer to aggy major.  Cuz they’s smrt.

    Isn't Johnson a grad transfer?

If he is, Blinn is still a Junior College, so there are no graduate classes offered at a junior college for a graduate student to take. Lulz.

It does make you wonder whether Sankey's office considered if undergrad transfers in any sport can "launder" their intra-SEC transfer through any college (Blinn, Kilgore, College of the Redwoods, Alvin Community College, Austin Community College, Houston "Country Club", etc., Lulz) in order to avoid the 1-year sit-out provision.

Dad went to Blinn before Texas, so this theory will give him a laugh.

Rules committee is apparently exploring adding in a 2 min warning.  TV would have to reserve their final scheduled commercial break of the 2nd half for the 2 minute warning.

Despite the spin today about it, there's plenty of people who believe (me included) that this is adding yet another set of commercials to CFB games.

If it wasn't doing that, why the pre-emptive (heh) deliberate spin to say that's not what this is? No statements to say, "We understand the CFB-viewing public hates more commercials. We will make sure this isn't abused by networks to add yet more commercials!" Not a peep like that. Just a throwaway line to, "Trust us," that the number of commercials stays the same and doesn't increase.

    Don't lie to us, NCAA.

Don't pee on our legs and tell us, "It's raining."

Alleged leak for Houston's new alternate helmet. Looks like something a 5A high school would wear.

Yeah, that Toxins helmet is Toxic.  Lulz.

This is such a common and strange reaction from aggies I meet living and working in Austin.  It's not like it should be any surprise encountering Texas grads in the same city where the university is located-- if you choose to live here you really ought to know what you're getting into.  If encountering Texas grads is going to be a remarkable and unpleasant experience for you, then Austin is probably not the city for you.

It's like going to new york hinterlands, putting on a Texas Longhorns T-shirt, walking around in the shopping malls, and counting the number of frowns that the locals reflexively give you just as you walk by.

It can become amusing to see who can spot the most frowns.

They just can't help themselves but hate all things TEXAS.  Lulz.

I typed it on my phone and it autocorrected to include the accents. Unlike some buffoons who claim that autocorrect is the accidental destroyer of their grammar and spelling on this site (ahem ... @SydneyCarton ), my autocorrect simply exists to add the chef's kisses to my stunning missives.

I will not coöperate with nor coördinate this naïveté.

This, you must muse and think hardly upon.  Lulz.

No AgTags for the posters, but there are a lot of irony-deaf up votes. Nice trolling or typical Aggie blindness.

I don't usually have much of an opinion about team wear, but the above is indeed hideous. There's probably a burnt orange version for us, but I can't see any Longhorn wearing something so bad.

Their irrational dislike for "horn" anything is just like aggy's anger/intimidation of wrong-orange anything in The Brazos Bottoms that all Whataburgers and Home Depots MUST have maroon on them in order for aggy not to have wrong-orange PTSD/panic-attacks/orange-things-bad-aggressions/etc.  Lulz.

Pretty sure you mean implying, not inferring.

Pretty sure I meant what I said, but you didn't know what you said.

    gerund or present participle: inferring

definition: deducing or concluding (information) from evidence and reasoning rather than from explicit statements.

Gerry was inferring Bakich is the replacement baseball coach he would get without giving us his reasons nor saying the name, "Bakich." He just keeps saying, "Don't sleep on the Clemson guy. / I'd be wanting the Clemson guy. /etc."

He's already pitching through a hurt hand. The main reason his velo is down from last year.

First I'd heard of that. Where'd you hear that?

All I've heard that his velocity was down and his control was up, with no explanation given.

I was born in Brenham, grew up here and moved back 18 1/2 years ago.  I got my driver license at that building (did you know it's not a driver's license in Texas).  I'm plenty familiar with the building.  Most of the victims were probably customers because the workers there are all stationed towards the back part of it, and the waiting area is up front.  But the place where they take your picture is also up front, right about where the truck hit though.  Also, that press conference was set up in the parking lot of the Masonic Lodge across the freeway from the DPS office for anybody wondering.  I commute out of town for work at my job in the media everyday, and it was really weird to see us covering a national story in my backyard.  That exit is the one you take to go to Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, HEB and a bunch of restaurants and other businesses.  I don't even wanna know how fucked up traffic was in that area today.  And for whoever said nothing weird happens here, you must not have been here long.  For a town this size, all sorts of weird stuff happens.  Hell, a little more than a year ago, Brenham was the fictional setting for a bit about Raisin' Cane's on Saturday Night Live.

    Says you, junior.

My family and extended family have been coming from Brenham and the surrounding areas since before you were a glimmer.

The last 2 national stories (not cow-tipping criminal mischief type stories) that came out of the Brenham area was the Hurricane Rita fubar evacuation traffic complaints in 2005 and the gas pipeline/salt dome explosion in 1992.

  10. Game has started, I'm watching the video, but for some reason 1300AM KVET in Austin is not playing the game yet -- they've got the national Fox Sports sportstalk guys on yet.
