  1. 4th and 2 from the opposing 35? That’s a go for it every time by anybody who gives a shit about analytics. Especially if you’re a 12 point underdog. 3 points ain’t gonna mean shit.
  2. Boise State should have just gone for it.
  3. Tim Brando from the top rope. For those colleagues of ours that argued for @AlabamaFTBL after their nauseating loss @OU_Football in November in primetime on ABC? I submit for your approval today’s appearance in Tampa against @UMichFootball. Oh I know, “they didn’t care, their fans didn’t either” the excuse machine in T-Town is never ending! However, the greatest line perhaps came from @KirkHerbstreit “I don’t wanna hear about wins!” Ok then, how about performance? Does that matter? If that doesn’t? What does🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️
  4. somebody should ask Herbie tonight if Boise State deserves to be in the CFP, or should their spot have gone to somebody like . . . Alabama. A big school from the SEC. but nobody has the balls to do that. maybe McAfee.
  5. Dillingham thinks he'll be the next Saban because he's Dill. i remember watching Arizona State struggle with Texas State early in the year on a Thursday night. i couldn't have imagined we'd be playing the Sun Devils in the quarters. we should cover pretty handily.
  6. Did a vaccine make her look like a truck stop methhead?
  7. This game got really interesting. Vikes up 27-25. 2:18 left. Pack kicking off. GB has all 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning.
  8. Two terrible corner kicks decisions.
  9. Denver is going for 2. Nix was holding 2 fingers up.
  10. And they lost a player to injury who trying to avoid scoring a TD. What a cluster.
  11. Coming soon to Trump’s America: detention centers all over the country to house “corrupt” Americans, i.e., those who oppose Trump. ❝China has built or expanded more than 200 specialized detention facilities nationwide to interrogate suspects ensnared in Xi Jinping’s widening anti-corruption drive, a CNN investigation has found, as the Chinese leader extends his crackdown beyond the ruling Communist Party to a vast swath of public sectors. Since taking power in 2012, Xi has launched a sweeping campaign against graft and disloyalty, taking down corrupt officials as well as political rivals at an unprecedented speed and scale as he consolidated control over the party and the military. Now well into his third term, the supreme leader has turned his relentless campaign into a permanent and institutionalized feature of his open-ended rule. And increasingly, some of the most fearsome tools he has wielded to keep officials in line are being used against a much broader section of society, from private entrepreneurs to school and hospital administrators – regardless of whether they are members of the 99-million-strong party. The expanded detention regime, named “liuzhi,” or “retention in custody,” comes with facilities with padded surfaces and round-the-clock guards in every cell, where detainees can be held for up to six months without ever seeing a lawyer or family members. It’s an extension of a system long used by the party to exert control and instill fear among its members.❞
  12. ^^^^^^ yep, that's what stands out the most to me. not that this schism has formed. it was inevitable that the MAGA cult members who go to Trump rallies would figure out (or be told) that Elon, Vivek, and the billionaire class that got Trump elected don't give any flying fucks about them. it's only been obvious since 2015 when Trump announced his candidacy. what's funny is that Trump couldn't even make it to 2025 without this happening. and he's been pretty damn invisible throughout it all. it's all Elon and Vivek who have caused the rupture. 2025 is gonna be lit.
  13. the National Center for Civil and Human Rights is supposed to be phenomenal. i'd visit that if i'm there in 3 weeks.
  14. yep. i can't swing the QF matchup, but i'm planning on going to Atlanta if/when we're in the national championship game, and i'll celebrate everything Atlanta has going on for it.
  15. that's what i thought, but replay showed grabbing the jersey
  16. the season finale was vey satisfying. i found myself rooting for the Jackal even though he's not the sort of bad guy i typically root for. unlike Dexter and Omar Little, the Jackal/Duggan/Charles has no code. he just murders for money, even "innocent" people who did nothing wrong. but when the supposed good guys are as shitty as they are, i gotta root for the Jackal. season 2 is gonna feature a lot more Charles Dance, which is always a good thing. he needs to get got.
  17. Danny Figs may have some company.
