The Twitters is blowing up re: ND. If every conference follows suit, ND doesn't have a season. If ND doesn't have a season, the transfer portal is about to be LIT

ACC commissioner said they would step in and help ND, apparently they already have 6 games scheduled with ACC teams already.

I feel like we've lived this simulation before. These classes and the way to two teams are recruiting and the focus on Texas from the OU recruits. It's Bomar, Peterson, Marcus Walker, Lendy Holmes all over again.

Keep that Rattler narrative rolling Sooners.

I pray to God that Troy Omeire knocks out McCutchin, like Quan did Holmes.

If Valai pulls that off, then there will be a lot of crow to be eaten on Surly. Plus, he’ll have plenty of time to go recruit a RB so we don’t interfere with Drayton’s strict schedule of playing Madden and watching NCSI all summer.

Went and looked at Wells twitter and don’t see any RT from Johnson, he also said he wasn’t sure Johnson was a take right now.

What's crazy is that you don't need an abundance of OL like the Brocks to run a highly successful offense in college. There are multiple examples of this phenomenon in the Big 12 alone. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have them, but you can build a highly successful OL if you know how to develop them, without needing all 5 of them to be highly rated 4+ star guys.

Outside of his one season at Ohio State, this is likely to be Yurcich's most talented OL he's ever had.

Exactly, look at Clemson and all the success they’ve had this past decade as a prime example.

It's funny how Edmond has been in the S&C program under each Stoops brother over the past two decades. Also, it's no coincidence how Kentucky started to really rise once Michigan State really began to fall. UK simply started beating out MSU throughout Northeast Ohio (and the rest of Ohio/even Michigan to an extent) in recruiting at various positions, and it shows. I would've been really high on Sparty for the future if Tucker had been able to get Marrow from UK. It's good for Kentucky that they're now at a point to where they're paying a TE coach $900K a year.

No doubt Marrow has been a huge part of their success recruiting that region, my Kentucky buddy thinks they have a real shot of pulling 5* Damon Payne out of Michigan.

“Realistic targets.” He committed there to help a NOLA coach out for a bit. He was never going to actually play football at Kansas.

Pooka Williams and Corione Harris were both 4* kids in the same class that signed with them, not sure how hard LSU was pushing for either?

I don’t think Kansas has to worry about their realistic targets committing to LSU. The school has little to nothing to sell football wise, so they focus on Les’s past success. It makes sense. aggy is basically doing the same thing, which is why they’d don’t focusing on the state of Texas nearly as much.

If only they could have held onto Jamar Chase...

Want to say I saw an article not to long ago saying Byrd was going back to OL this year.

There was a DMN/DCTF article about him a few days ago where Reginald Samples is quoted saying he’ll be moving back to OL this year. Also the kid is originally from Georgia and moved to Dallas in 8th grade because of gang violence and his brother being shot.

fwiw - I had to go back and check, so this bump came 11 days after the massive "defensive update" on 247. if you ever wanted an example of the FongElko bump, this is a clear example.

something here seems off --- I can't put my finger on it ...

Shrugging What Had Happened Was GIF

The 247 backend doesn’t always work right and shows the wrong date for stuff, that bump happened when they did the “defensive update”. I remember looking at it and wondering who the hell he was.

Let the Georgia QB Soap Opera drama begin...

"Georgia is a Terrible Landing Spot for Former USC Quarterback JT Daniels"

Wonder if Georgia holds on to top 2021 QB recruit Brock Vandagriff??

Unless the kid is insisting on starting his freshman year why would he bail? Newman starts this year while Daniels sits then Vandagriff sits and redshirts behind Daniels for 1 year before taking over, Seems like a pretty clear succession plan to me.

    Drumm's OU class prediction

    QB: Caleb Williams

    RB: Camar Wheaton, AJ Green

WR: Cody Jackson, Mario Williams, Christian Leary, Jalil Farooq, Malcolm Johnson

OL: Cullen Montgomery, Bryce Foster, Fatheree/TBD

DL/DE: Ethan Downs, Nathan Rawlins-Kobonge, Tobechi Okoli, Kelvin Gilliam, Isaiah Coe, Tommy Akingbesote

OLB/ILB: Danny Stutsman, Kendal Daniels, Collin Oliver

DB: Jordan Mukes, Latrell McCutchin, Tommi Hill, Ryan Barnes, Khyree Jackson, Daymon David

So Wheaton, Foster and maybe Fatheree the only kids we care about?

this all stems from ambiguity/a stupid interpretation of the NCAA rule. Especially with the increase in GTs, there’s no way they should count as a full signee, but
You get 25 signees per class. you can back count 5 from the last class if it was under the limit. Adding a signee to the 2020 class is one less we could back count in 2021. I’m not saying it will definitely mean 1 less in 2021, because predicting class size with what’s going on right now will be impossible, just explaining what Fud was referring to.

Also Black has 2 years of eligibility left

Is Smith buddies with Jackson and Burris seeing as they are all in the same city?

Wells mentioned they know each other but not well enough to make a difference. I’m pretty sure Jackson was at Gilmer through 8th grade.
