  8. Wife and I were in town from Wednesday afternoon till today for our 14th anny. We hadnt been since we were both teenagers. Hit up some solid food and drink options, as well as some of the sites because we didnt have the kids in tow. Wed Landed and went to MoMA. Pretty damn good collection of modern art. Then did the view deck at Edge and saw Vessel while we were there. Had some of Jose Andres’ basque cheesecake for a snack at Mercado Little Spain below Edge. Afterwards we went to Death and Co, had dinner at Jungsik, and drinks/view after at Overstory. We were hammered. Thurs Visited the Guggenheim, walked through Central Park, had lunch at Le Bernardin, then went to The Met (I knew it was big but goddamn). After The Met, went to Columbus Circle and we had early dinner at Per Se, then saw Jake and Denzel in Othello on Broadway. Pretty cool seeing two of my favorite actors up close. After the show, we went to Daintree for drinks, then more drinks at Bar La Cima that had a nice view of the Empire State Building. Fri Went to some historical sites. Visited Federal Hall, walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, went to African Burial Grounds Natl Historic Monument, Stonewall Natl Historic Monument, Washington Square Arch, Teddy Roosevelt Birthplace Natl Historic Monument, had lunch at Masa (wayyyy to overpriced for lunch at $495 pp before tax and tip), Castle Clinton Natl Historic site, then took the ferry to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. After we came back we visited the 9/11 museum. Extremely well done. Almost shed tears multiple times. We then visited Superbueno for drinks (how this place is on the worlds top 50 Bars is a joke), and Martinys for more drinks. Dinner was a little late at Atomix. Incredible experience with the tasting menu there. Highly recommended. Sat This morning we took the ferry to Governors Island Natl Historic Monument, then went to Grants Tomb and Hamilton Grange (Alexander Hamiltons House) Natl Historic Site. Lunch was at Eleven Madison Park. Totally forgot they were vegan. Best vegan food we have ever had. After that was the airport. Currently in terminal, ill try to upload some pics
