Morning Show: Hogan, money-whip Brad Kellner to come back, Rod as the third wheel to talk stats and absolutely nothing about his personal life and relationships with women. Bring Craig in for an hour+ segment every Friday during the football season to preview the high school games that night and discuss the results of the previous week.

3 people on a show is too many. I’d be happy with Erin and Rod in the mornings. That’s really all I’d need.  I’ve been listening the B&E only via podcast for several years now. Haven’t touched the actual radio in my car in a long time. One podcast a day is all the sports talk I can take but it’s nice being able to listen to it whenever is convenient in my day.

  2. I use my pool way more than my teenage kids do. They get in it when their friends are over but that’s mostly it. It’s still been money well-spent. I’m in it every day that I’m home. I ride my bike most days and always hop straight in it with a protein shake and a beer to chase it with. I’ll float there for 30 minutes or an hour every day. Some mornings I have my coffee in the pool. I would be hesitant to buy one mainly for the kids unless they are young. My teenagers are just too busy and don’t appreciate chilling out in it as much as I do.

  3. Look at some of the characters we have in the highest levels of national politics.  Everything in her past aligns perfectly well with what America is willing to elect these days.  She recognized that before we did.  You guys can expose whatever you want but nobody gives a shit.  She’s an idiot but her past is not a problem and never will be.

  4. It wasn’t a lost airplane. St Louis is a maintenance station and most likely that plane was having work done on it and wasn’t available until they got done with it.  They try not to plan on using those planes if they don’t know how long the work will take.  When the work gets done it suddenly becomes available.  Front line employees don’t really know much more than a tiny slice of the big picture, that agent was just regurgitating what someone in Dallas told them.

We got a Velvet Taco last year in the same area-ish, The Rim.  I think it crushes Torchy's at its own game.

I’ve never had a velvet taco, but Hobby airport is getting one soon and I’m pretty hopeful that it’ll be better than average airport food.

    You were saying?

Are there people who think Craig isn’t a good game day announcer?  His radio show is shit but I think he’s pretty damn good at calling games.

Strange things seem to be happening in the world and this is the best explanation for all the strangeness.

What strange things are happening? There’s a lot of unsettling things happening, but most of the news I read is as predictable and expected as it is disturbing.

Reserving campsites is a rookie move. Especially if you have a camper van.

I’ve got a few spots in mind to check out for dispersed camping. But we have so little of that in Texas and I’ve only done it a few times, so I’m not quite comfortable enough to show up without a back up plan. More than one I’ve shown up to a dispersed campground area and it looks like the homeless camps under Highway 71 in Austin.
Plus, we want to be near towns for good eating. It’s not a camping trip, we just happen to be sleeping in a van. Down by the river.

  9. Not much hiking, well maybe a little bit, but my 15-year-old son and I are going to LA and renting a camper van to drive to San Francisco over 4 days on the PCH.  Have campsites reserved near Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Monterey.  Looking like highs in the 60s most of those spots next week.

  10. The family booked a Royal Caribbean out of Galveston.  They insisted on a Galveston cruise because it’s easier, I insisted on RC over Carnival and I’ll just plan on it being like one of those nicer Walmarts.
Got a balcony room. I don’t know or care where the stops are.  It’s after school starts so should be no kids.

Started planning a trip to Switzerland for next summer to help me cope.
