    Hopefully they fuck Oklahoma

    They got blando

Hopefully they got Alvarez or Marr

Alvarez likes OU.    No hope there.   And TCU officially threw in the towel on the last drive.  Fuck OU

Bjork is in over his head.  This whole coaching change is giving him enough rope to hang himself so they can replace him.

The press conference fiasco when he found out we were moving to SEC was setup for him to embarrass himself.

Which begs the question about John Sharp….   Why hasn’t he been asked to retire or else?    He signed off on all of Jimbos deals and even said  it was too bad it wasn’t a 15 year deal.   I know he was only joking about that, but still he was all in on the 10 year extension.

“We’ve had some excess,” he admits. “Our staff pool for the entire football program was over $13 million. Other programs in the SEC are in the $9 million to $10.5 million range.”

Bjorks says other sports are safe some seeing their budgets cuts, and says job cuts will be confined to the football program.

“Analysts, recruiting positions, operational positions,” Bjork says when asked where he says fat can be trimmed.

He also pointed out how the Aggies’ travel budget was out of sync with other teams.

"Our program under Coach Fisher was leaving [for away games] on Thursday nights," Bjork says. "And so that’s added hotel rooms, that’s added meals. Everybody else leaves on Friday for a road game."

Too much overhead and salaries, I guess. No one else would have a postgame like we did. It's also just cool to hear Brian Robison, Michael Griffin, and Fozzy Whittaker talk about UT football after a game. Plus, you get the immediate Sark postgame press conference. Plus the stupid awards were always fun to see.

The upside is they have the studios and setups at the venues like DKR to continue streaming of something  similar if they chose.    Production doesn't require a huge truck or staff for that matter for streaming.  I've seen several high school football games for example that look very well done that are being filmed by just a few cameras and the production done from a laptop.

It will be interesting to see how the new SEC media deal will work with non football sports, especially basketball and baseball.

I will miss the post game show for football. It’s nice having commentators only talking about your game. I guess we’ll get that with the SEC Network but it will be a lot of shared time and mouth breathing. I’m going to assume most of our basketball and baseball games will now be on SECN or ESPN+.

It would be cool if they could just migrate all that  stuff to streaming.

Good article.  Some spin by ESPN staffers, but I loved that it started w how it was offered to ATM first and they turned it down

All of that is  omitted by aggy  and their media mouthpieces around the state when they blame us for everything .   I’m surprised it made the article much less the first part.

diluted the talent. Same thing happened to katy

Katy High still wins and gets the love from the Katy community.   Judson has become like some of the former Northside schools who were powers back in the 80's and 90's like Churchill, Clark, Madison, etc.

So basically, the only game this year in which Texas was penalized less than the opponent was the only game where Big 12 officials weren't used?  What a huge coincidence.

That’s correct.  The same SEC Refs for which many who follow SEC teams not named Alabama claim are biased for the Tide and Saban .     Go figure.

The Eck games in 14 OU/15 OSU LoL...so obvious.

I still think some money was at play in the 2015 game.   But damn for it to happen 7 years later really legitimizes that question.  And on paper 2022 looks worse because Okie State had zero penalties after averaging over nine for the balance of the season.  That zero in our game probably lowered that number and it was probably ten if the Refs had called five or more.

From what I can tell, OSU averaged 9.4 penalties/game in 2022. So in all games not against us, over 10/game.

Wow….  A conference with any sense of responsibility and ethics  would’ve made Mar sit with the Rig 12 Head of officiating and gone through that whole game with a fine tooth comb.    That’s criminal.

What was Okie States average for the year?   People will point at the UA game by Campbell’s crew as the Rig12 Refs did Texas a favor.    Of course we know they screwed up the call in the end zone, but it was more to for what was not called.  Bama could’ve easily had 150 yards or more .
