His focus is on the Senate.  Nothing more but if the GOP keeps the House, icing on the cake.  JUDGES, JUDGES, JUDGES.

Winning the house would at least let Dems preserve Obamacare and investigate trump.

This will be the dems if they don't take the House.  Which they won't.  The GOP hangs on by a short hair.

You don’t have any logic or facts to back up this assertion. Most conservatives think they’re going to win every election no matter what. You guys are definitely at a disadvantage on the house / governor maps.

I don’t even live In Georgia but that’s the one race where I will be very upset if the person I want to see win doesn’t win.

The rest of the races?  Life goes on (at least for me anyway).  But Kemp seems like a truly loathesome human being.

Another beatdown at the hands of republicans in Florida would piss me off no matter how the rest of the election goes.

The democrats haven’t had control of the governors mansion in Florida since the late 1990’s. I want the prohibition of weed to crumble and I know Gillum would legalize it in Florida.

An under discussed consequence of this election are gerrymandering for 2020-2030.   In many states, the governor can veto the newly drawn district maps.   Many of the governors being elected Tuesday will have that power even if the state legislature is controlled by the other party.

The close governor elections for these states include Georgia, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and Kansas.

All of the experts expect the democrats to do well in the governor races.

the democrats only have 16 out of 50 governorships right now. After the election, they should have between 22-24

I truly don’t get why saying a state might become like California is supposed to be a bad, scary thing.

Oh, my state might become one of the largest economies in the world, have a budget surplus, have phenomenal universities, and have vibrant cities and beautiful places to visit?

    OH NO NOT THAT!!!!

Donald trump jr. is a fucking moron.

After the shitfest that was today's football game i have zero optimism for anything. All 535 congressional seats will go red. Trump will declare himself President for life, Congress will ratify it, and the Supremes will oppose any and all challenges and uphold the change in the elimination of term limits. I hate everything and everything is fucked.

    Relax....

all Texas has to do is win out and hope West Virginia beats OU right?

  7. Right wing nut jobs go off while the party they support does absolutely nothing about guns.

some gop lawmakers really think the solution to stop school shootings is to arm both teachers and students ( kids). They seem to think “the more bullets in the air, the better”. It makes you wonder if these people have never heard of “friendly fire”.

Tarrant Co walk in vote was 51,630 today.  Might be a few mail ballots to add but total EV turnout in Tarrant 41.4% or slightly higher.

High Tarrant County turnout is bad for Beto. I live here. Most people around here just hit straight ticket repub without thinking about it or caring whose really on the ballot. I wish people wouldn’t vote for potty Patrick or ken “indictment” Paxton at least.

btw they’re mad the polling places will stay open to get everyone who is line at 7 a chance to vote. No one new can get in line after 7.

GOP would prefer they close the doors and shut off the lights at 7, fuck people waiting

I know it’s in really poor tastes and it makes me look bad, but I really can’t wait until Sheldon Adelson dies and goes the fuck away. The guy is a disgrace. He’s been almost single handedly funding the GOP for the last 10 years or so. He’s donated at least 150-200 million to the GOP this cycle alone, much more than he usually does.

New poll in CA 49 has Levin over Harkey 51-44.

When counting early voters that already voted, Levin by 13.

That ones going blue for sure.

The big big question is what about rorhabacher, Walters, Knight, and Denham?

how many of those bastards lose?

  11. New York Times / Siena poll

    Texas 32

    Registered voters

    Allred - 43

    sessions- 37

    Likely voters

    Allred- 44

    sessions- 42

i would like to see Sessions go down so bad. The extremely high turnout in Dallas county probably isn’t a good sign for that dickhead.

Arizona just baffles me.  I can’t believe after all of her derogatory quotes about Arizonans that Sinema has be linked to including having no problem with people going overseas to fight with the Taliban.  McSally was a 28 yr Air Force Vet who was the first female pilot in combat and the first to command a Squadron in combat.

Say what you want about the other races this one shouldn’t even be close   I have faith the voters of AZ will not make it close with McSally winning handlely.

Then again I thought Texas would beat OSU without any problem

Some republicans I know have this misconception that mcstinky is a good candidate, but she’s really not. She has a lot of baggage as well. She’s running for senate because her district AZ-02 couldn’t stand her and was going to vote her out. Pretty much every interview she starts off by saying “ I’m a fighter pilot”. When the repubs tried and failed to repeal Obamacare, she infamously stood up and yelled at her GOP colleagues in the house “LETS GET THIS FUCKING THING DONE”. Ok......So Mcstinky was very excited and enthusiastic about taking healthcare away from over 20 million Americans ( the non partisan CBO projection at the time).

Of course she’s getting hammered on healthcare.

I’m no expert, but it seems like repubs only have 2 real days left to change the trajectory. Who really pays attention to the news over the weekend?  Whose really going to change their mind on Monday the day before?

Repubs are running out of time. Point blank.

Seems like theres a trend back to democrats in the close Senate races? I can haz Senate majority?

The picture in the senate actually does seem to be getting better.

I still wouldn’t think about a majority if I were you. The best I think the Dems can do is 50 / 50 and that would mean mr. “Afraid to dine alone with a woman whose not his wife” would be spending a lot more time on the senate floor.

  15. BOOM

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/midterms-2018-early-voting-young-100419572.html

Early voting by young people up 500% in both Texas and Georgia.

Lets see... you’re 18 years old. Who would you pick

Beto = cool punk rocker who skate boards in the whataburger parking lot late at night

Cruz = slimy Canadian lawyer who is hated by everyone in congress and half the repubs in Texas.

Abrams = intelligent charismatic candidate who has celebrities ( will Ferrell and Oprah) working their asses off to overcome voter suppression and make history.

kemp= leader of the voter suppression. Has a creepy ad where he points shotguns at 16 year olds. Drives around Georgia in a deportation bus.
