  1. Totally agree. I’m starting to worry that this could end before Super Tuesday which would really suck. Need to at least keep Trump off Biden until March.
  2. I wish it was more serious so that he would at least have to retire. Sick of looking at that guy.
  3. I’m hoping NH turnout is significantly lower than 2016 as well. Then we’re definitely onto something.
  4. This is what some repubs are saying now that it looks like Trump will get the nomination.
  5. Good thing Georgia is trending Blue. I’m hoping repubs can’t win there anymore by 2028
  6. Cajuns knew they were going to lose like Alabama did and are just biting the bullet. Fine with me. Of all the court cases, I was most optimistic about Alabama and Louisiana. Their maps were both extremely obvious racist screw jobs. Florida ended up being a loss because democrats have done so poorly in the state since Obama left. Repubs controlled literally all levers of power. Georgia was able to simply tweak their map without giving up any seats. I don’t think we will see anything come out of the remaining South Carolina / Texas lawsuits.
  7. It probably helped that it’s below freezing nearly all over the country and the caucus was on a Monday night. Lots of folks probably had nothing to do but try to stay warm and watch the shit show.
  8. Ramaswamy dropped out. Guy was worthless anyway.
  9. I hope bama is right. Hopefully a big chunk of his base died due to old age or covid. Would make elections easier to win.
  10. CNN talking about 2016 being higher. Hahahaha
  11. So CNN says half the vote is in. I count about 60K votes total.
  12. Totally random story, but I don’t care. I was real curious about how Florida would vote in 2018. I really wanted to see the dems get a major governor seat in the south. Obviously it didn’t work out very good. i remember watching this news report where they had a mixture of Florida voters and the guy most loyal / Republican to Trump was this 60 year old white dude who said everyone needs to “ get out of the way” and “ let trump fix everything”. Total delusional trumper.
  13. It’s fun to kick back and watch this retard show. So many stupid people getting involved and making their voices heard tonight.
  14. Anytime Trump is disappointed by turnout, I crack a big ass smile. I hope I’m smiling later this evening.
  15. Because the GOP will never turn down the opportunity to own “ or arrest” a black guy. Even if said Black guy has been out of politics for nearly 10 years now.
  16. Should be interesting to watch this shit show while lots of us in North Texas are snowed / iced in.
  17. Not sure where else to ask this, but I’d really like for Biden to catch up to Trump on judge appointments. How are we doing on that front? I wish we could end the blue slip policy or whatever. It’s holding up a bunch of nominations.
  18. My analysis of the map and future opportunities is as follows: Hawaii, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania are only a matter of time. All 3 states have had detailed conversations, votes, and they seem to be trying to sort the last few things out. It’s a “when” not “ if” thing here. North Dakota and South Dakota seems like they vote on it nearly every election cycle. If they continue to allow votes on it, it will eventually break thru and that’s 2 more red states we can add to the pile. Every 2-4 years people in these states get it on the ballot thru the ballot initiative process. West Virginia seems to be trending to the “when not if” category. I’m still Skeptical on Florida. Florida is both Republican as hell and crazy as fuck. They have used the Florida Supreme Court to stop it from getting on the ballot before and may do so again. Desantis is a 70 year old man in a 40 year old’s body. For some reason, he really doesn’t like this stuff. You’d think anyone under 50 wouldn’t be hostile to marijuana, but there are lots of idiots in the US population. In addition, Florida needs 60% to pass ballot initiatives and recreational is still considered somewhat controversial so I’m not sure it could get 60% statewide in Desantis land with the GOP trying to stop it there. Georgia and Wisconsin are considered “playing the long game”. We flipped the Supreme Court in Wisconsin, we are fixing the maps, and hopefully we can take control there and get abortion / weed legalization passed like the majority of Wisconsin residents desire. Georgia we need to continue to have liberals move there for work. We need more black Georgians to get over the age of 18. Georgia is competitive like we were hoping Texas would be by now. The demographics in Georgia seem to be trending in the dems direction. Take the legislature / governor in Georgia and they could pass it. Activists have tried to get medical on the ballot in Idaho, Nebraska, and Wyoming, but they’ve had trouble with either collecting enough signatures or the Supreme Court / republicans have stepped in and killed it. there are still lots of wins out there to be had and fight for. Like I said, I wish Dan Patrick would croak so maybe Texas could join the fun.
  19. Bathroom Dan, potty Patrick, Dan Patrick that fucker kills it every year in the state legislature regardless of what Texans think and other republicans think. I really wish Dan Patrick would die.
  20. Same shit is about to happen in New York. Nearly all dems hate Elise Stefanik, but we’re going to Hochulmamder the maps where we get 4-5 seats back and make Stefanik’s district even redder.
  21. https://www.marijuanamoment.net/west-virginia-senate-president-says-marijuana-could-be-legalized-to-help-curb-fentanyl-epidemic-sooner-than-later/ Republican West Virginia senate president talking about legalizing marijuana relatively soon because his state is getting hammered by the opioid epidemic. West Virginia legalizing would be huge for several reasons. WV is the reddest state in the country. Would send a message to other republican states. WV going legal would fully surround Pennsylvania with legal states and put more pressure on them to legalize. New Hampshire is an island of prohibition as well, but prohibition seems to be holding on by a thread in that state. your possibilities for 2024 legalization appear to be : Florida, Hawaii, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and South Dakota. 24 states fully legal. 26 to go. Just want to see this sham of a prohibition die.
  22. I wouldn’t mind putting up with her if we could gerrymander the shit out of the rest of the state. Get Colorado all dem except 1 or 2 seats. we’ve kind of kicked ourselves in the balls nationwide with all these bipartisan redistricting committees. They only seem to exist in blue states. Republicans just Gerrymander hardcore and hope the courts don’t step in. Dems need to go as hard as repubs on this.
