Rogan and his sphere are nobodies and don't have any impact on Austin at all.

Wagyu is overrated. The people that obsess over it don’t know shit about good meat and just tout its merits because it’s expensive.
Sorry.
Wagyu is not overrated in some forms/cuts.
It needs to be graded higher than prime and the marble score needs to be high for it to matter.

I work in Data Center management for a huge company with presence in many DC colos around the world. Finding space in these smaller third party vendors isn't difficult, they all have tons of unused space because so many companies have migrated to cloud in the last 10 years. I know several vendors with plenty of open spaces in Houston, Dallas and Austin. Not sure what pricing would be for a single cabinet, but we were generally getting 1k per month per cabinet for the space we wanted to build. It's much larger at 30-40 cabinets, so there is a decent discount built-in to that pricing.
What's special about this Dallas space? Why not Austin where you live and are able to service the equipment?
Are you factoring the power costs, circuits, and maintenance on top of the lease cost? If you plan on using the DC "smart hands" techs to fix things, you need to budget a lot for that too.
Are you planning to have a mirror DR site? If you want to handle data, you need to have an off site backup plan.
What kind of hardware are you planning on buying to provide the service? My company sends lots of older equipment to e-waste that is often re-sold, and can be bought for cheap by little guys like you looking to squeeze more life out of them. You could look into purchasing hardware from a source like that and save a lot on the startup costs.
it's inclusive of power, redundant circuits, battery backup, diesel generator, 17 ISP trunk with redundant network routes, remote hands included in a SOC 2 cage - so yeah it's not just a bunch of "open space in a colo" - it's also not just a run of the mill facility it's a tier 4 facility. It doesn't come up that often and it's built into the pricing. I know you are trying to be helpful, but it comes off as patronizing and like I haven't literally had a cabinet in that space since covid and have never done this before and don't know what things cost.
Austin fucking sucks for colo space and everyone wants outrageous amounts of money for single cabinet stuff and they are all hard to work with for a single cabinets worth of space. Also I'm not really aware of any Tier 4 facilities here that aren't gouging the fuck out of you.
We would be someone's DR site - the entire point would be to not get into the business of "handling peoples data" it would be to give them a place to buy raw capacity in increments that dont demand a quarter cab or full cab. You are way overcomplicating this, I'm not trying to be some colo subcontractor I'm trying to use something that is made available to make a bit of extra cash and not looking to scale it into some crazy tech business. If I wanted to build out a 40 rack cage I could do that, that's not what I'm trying to do. I'm looking at a turnkey thing we can put a bunch of hardware in and lease to a small customer base.
I probably buy what your company sells and I've had a long working relationship with The Server Store who are in Dallas and provide NBD replacement out of their facility which is less than 12 minutes away from the colo, it's worked out pretty awesome and been same day a lot of the times for me because of that.
You can get a dual node dual 3rd generation xeon platinum with 40c/80t and 1T of DRAM with quad 10GbE RJ45 and 24TB of NVMe per node for 23k all in with a 5 year replacement nbd warranty (160 cores, 2TB of DRAM and 48TB of NVMe and 8 10gbps uplinks) in 2u and still have 39 more to spare if you count the switch. That alone equivalent in AWS (an i4i instance is nearly identical hardware) is 16k/mo (192k/yr) on demand and 10k/mo (120k up front, 360k tot) reserved 3 years.
Getting 10 of those for 220k and having half a petabyte of NVMe, 1.6k cores and 20TB of DRAM is something you can do some pretty interesting things with that don't require you to scale beyond that single RU.

If they actually tried to make money by diversifying the services and offerings for advertisers and made more of an effort to meet users where they wanted to be with algorithm management and tooling etc for a fee they could grow their business in a new and good way. Their user base is massive and their inability to monetize it outside of ads is pathetic.
Google has diversified the shit out of its revenue even though a large chunk still comes from advertising.

Oh they're super serious about making money.
No, they aren't. They are constantly trying to fuck the cash cow and can't get away from it. They are playing a dangerous game with their only source of revenue and doing so quite unseriously.
AI slop on their platform, lack of content moderation, users running away and being counted still. Traffic being fucking faked. All of that is actually unserious.

I would absolutely go work for meta in a heartbeat if they were serious about becoming a hyperscaler or neocloud just for the new style of compute.
They aren't serious about anything as a business.

I think that's 10% scams. 15-20% ads shown to bots (fake impressions) and probably another 30% of ads are shell companies that sell nothing but spend on ads to support the CPM price demand.
I think Metas revenue is mostly fake and/or paid with non-real cash (debt) that is defaulted.

Fetti for pick up and dropoff for 14 people from oak hill HEB to Celis is $225 all in. ~20 a head with a good tip or ~17 a head with minimal tip.
I assume the Brentwood pickup will be slightly cheaper but probably the same.

Did you actually watch the video? She enters a few prompts on her laptop and the music spits out. Don’t think she’s doing much post production work, if any.
I did, specifically at the end when she said "I do this hundreds of times before I find one where its actually good"
There's no way she isn't doing post, the songs that she puts out are all properly mixed. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's a scam and that girl didn't seem like she was just some slap-dick moron who's proompting her way to the billboard charts. She picked a style, ran with it and is sticking to it just like any artist. She just can't sing herself.

I don't know why people have a problem here. She is generating hundreds maybe thousands of songs, then probably doing a bunch of post production and/or revision on it. That's a lot of work, but she will never perform live and it'll never sound like what someone who can actually sing can put out.

I don't really understand what the fuck is going on here and how there are no leaks, but also how they can just not redact or conveniently lose files.

So we are just gonna believe the cops now? I'm not saying anything else happened but since when do we just take that at face value without considering anything else.

Ok let's do Celis. Do we want to do $40 bucks with food and 4 beers?
What kind of food do we want?

Switched video ad providers today. Content will be mostly OTF with some surly stuff mixed in.
Sorry if there was some site wonkyness for a few minutes the player was doing unintentional things that I fixed. Should be good now and overall better.
Also if you see a DHS ad I having those removed. New provider have to ban ads for.

How many are you feeding? I honestly haven't felt it as much as I thought I would on the tailgates. The per head cost has gone up, but as a cost component it's still pretty low per head.
I do agree that the prices are insane, it feels like the higher end briskets (prime, grass fed or wagyu) have gone up less relative to the choice briskets.
