  1. The open bar (free drinks) is done regardless if the game is still going. They aren't gonna open bar for double OT or long running games. You can stay the rest of the day to watch all games with the public after the Texas game. Doors and breakfast and stuff is early before kick. Then lunch and open bar all game. Then cash bar after that all day into the night.
  2. If all of you guys can't handle it I'll ban all three of you. In no way is anything any of what all 3 of you posting necessary or even productive.
  3. There's no TV's in any of these pictures - it's not usually a sports bar, we are changing it to show the game and it's all only people that come to this. I don't think the vibe comes across in photos, but it should be like sitting in your living room, but with a bunch of your friend and not ridiculously loud either game or people sound. It's a lively atmosphere that's still comfortable around a bunch of other fans. Maybe I got the vibe wrong and people just wanted a party/bar vibe...IDK hard to tell without any feedback except positive and lack of ticket sales.
  4. seriously though are there not more people coming? This needs to sell a lot more for me to feel better about doing anything like this for non home games. If you can please share with others if you aren't interested in coming yourself.
  5. I can set something up for everyone. I'll plan for 500
  6. He most definitely does not. He knows his lane and he stays in it though.
  7. I host many of them as well at the tailgate. They are good people, they mean well, but they are pretty fucking dumb.
  8. Xfer OL are too expensive. Its a 2 part equation of overspending on a developing player only to pay even more to have someone come start over them.
  9. I just went and caught up on the thread. It always cracks me up how lame the discussion is there.
  10. Much different place over there lol
  11. I liked baby rhino as a nickname.
  12. Gen z are high on reality TV and delusions of grandeur. Having your own apartment in downtown anywhere especially the bigger cities bow that have gotten more populous and haven't built enough additional housing is and always has been only for people who's parents help out or they landed sweet jobs out of school. The practicality of having roommates with gen z doesn't matter because their phone is their roommate and the restaurants are their kitchen.
  13. Did you just make all that up?
  14. I think Gibson is a situational back who needs to prove ball security and then can be more of a change of pace back for the game. I don't think you are understanding what Gerry was saying about him.
  15. Its a lot different than its ever been for the 9.95 contingent
  16. Can I get out of my timeout now papa?
  17. Surly will take them and do giveaways etc. Just now seeing this.
  18. They are completely through fall camp and scimmages. Baxter is taking RB1 reps in quantity as well. That's not made up. That's actually happened and fact. The coaches see him, people who are at practices see him. Everyone with eyes sees him. Just because YOU have not seen him doesn't mean he's not ready. I'm not dumb, you are projecting a bunch based off of very little to do with any evidence at all, and a bunch of anecdotal worrying. I'm not telling you it's stupid to worry about Baxter I'm saying it's just made up fantasy that he isn't ready to play.
  19. You just described making things up. This isn't hard or some gotcha.
  20. Jonathan Brooks was the best player on every field he played on that season. He was robbed by such a freak injury. I think Baxter is just a much different back and coming from a supreme vision and contact balance back like JB to Baxter who is more of the size back workhorse. He's smart and durable when his knee isn't ripped off and as said before he blocks like crazy.
  21. Yeah, that's exactly my point. My argument wasn't regarding his full 100% return it was "healthy enough to be a difference maker" and I'm pretty sure that's a thing unless he gets injured again which is not the same thing.
  22. You said you don't think he's healthy enough to be a difference maker this year, I asked why and you made something up. He's RB1, practicing as RB1, the coaches think of him as RB1 and if he plays as RB1 he will most certainly make a difference this year. Just because you went off on some tangent about him being the best player he could possibly be or back to 100% doesn't mean I said shit about disagreeing with him being back to 100% or not. Here I'll make something up too. I think an 80% Baxter is enough to have over 1k yards and average more than 4 per carry and carry the RB1 load. Stop attributing other posts or what other posters are saying to me.
