  1. It does for some teams, I think it's a cultural thing. I do know a lot of the guys are a lot more sensitive to the optics right now than usual. I think that plays a lot into their overall confidence and comfort level when traveling. Some of these guys have built up enough reputation and good will that they are sort of immune to it, a lot of the offense doesn't have that privilege.
  2. I just think sark gives up on the run too quick. Sometimes you just gotta wear some mother fuckers out.
  3. Oh I meant he feels like he doesn't have other options. If he just isn't giving guys touches because he's afraid that they suck that's really just shitty.
  4. Decade+ is 2010 to now, you forget that we are old. I also didn't say all time.
  5. This guy gets it. (I also get the joke)
  6. It is really a damn shame if this is true. I just don't believe it is.
  7. lmao Pancake Factory produced some of the best OL play that has been seen at Texas in the past decade+ and stopped 3 seasons ago.
  8. it gets so much better the first 3 books aren't even categorically the same level as the last 3.
  9. I'll make them all, but the "manhandling" just isn't there in the first quarter. There's blown as fuck assignments, and stupid ass shit going on, but not straight up getting manhandled. IDK why people stick with this narrative or if they just don't actually have eyes or as you say "know shit about football", but I do know quite a bit about football and I know what the fuck I'm seeing and it's not a bunch of dudes just getting pushed around by the other team it's a bunch of dumb shit blown assignments and not knowing what the fuck to do or who the fuck they are supposed to be blocking. Neither is excusable, but they are different problems.
  10. I guess what I'm saying and I think what ztejas is saying is that the coaches are fucking this and the players are ready to fucking play.
  11. didn't get physically manhandled by Kentucky either and had the offense done literally anything it could have been 4 scores. I'm not gonna sit out here and project that Arch is going to backslide to UTEP levels of dogshit play and the OL is gonna just forget that they are playing football.
  12. I don't know that he gives that much of a fuck, which is my big problem with him. Now more than ever it's obvious he's not a vicious competitor and I just don't think anyone can win it all without being a little bit coo coo for coco puffs in that way if you know what I mean.
  13. I don't think Vegas is animal tobacco.
  14. Surly isn't down.
  15. This is what's wrong. That guy didn't out athlete anyone. They just didn't block him.
  16. He answered, but this is the answer. They have the house, Senate majorities and they have the sitting president. If they can't make a functional government with those pieces we will wait until the election and they won't get another chance.
  17. Yes, I do think that when this team plays to its capability there isn't another team that can beat them this year. This isn't the past, there is a lot more parity out there than you either want to admit or just aren't seeing and there's not really a truly dominant team out there except one Texas already played and didn't look outclassed.
  18. I mean this is it. This is exactly how I feel with the exception of past performance = future results. I think this team has a nearly unmatchable ceiling and the floor is where we pretty much are. If it gets any worse you and I both know conversations will be being had on what is and isn't and acceptable product for the business of Texas Football. Kentucky was an unacceptable performance from top to bottom front to back and side to side on the offensive side of the ball. Starting with the coaches. It was an embarassment and an abomination. I don't give a fuck about practice if the philosophy isn't going to change. The current course isn't one they can keep and Sark has to fucking know that.
  19. I don't know if this is a serious question or not. Because it's the right thing to do and governing isn't about hurting people who don't vote for you.
  20. I think there's a certain expectation of performance from a leader in the locker room. Bijan was self admittedly much less of a vocal leader and Roschon took on a big role. Quinn was never the vocal leader either, he always had others to step up and do it. Arch had the team going before Ohio State and that imploded mainly due to personal performance, there was no plan B on offense and we are seeing that now.
  21. Well, yeah I think that's what a lot of people are pissed about.
  22. The worst part is it isnt even some cherry picked thing. It was just one of about 12 examples.
  23. What about the defense was a shitty performance?
  24. We get it you are rooting against quinn.
