I'm actually not that worried about the officiating in the Georgia game, at least from the standpoint that I don't think Georgia is going to get some inherent favoritism from SEC officials. I say that for two reaons:
1) The SEC doesn't have an interest in Georgia beating Texas. The SEC wants more teams in the CFP, full stop. If Georgia wins, they're probably still in the CFP with only two losses. Texas, on the other hand, is probably out (not definitely, but probably). So if anything, the Conference should favor Texas winning that game.
2) I'm very skeptical of the conspiracy theories about conferences wanting certain teams to win. It would be just too big a conspiracy to keep a lid on. It's one thing for two or three referees on a crew to agree to something among themselves; it's quite another to have a crew agree with the league office about something. I just don't think it's realistic scenario.
What is a realistic scenario--and one that could affect any game--is gambling. It's just really hard to watch the fourth quarter of that Vanderbilt game and conclude that one or more of that crew didn't have an interest in Vanderbilt +3.5. I think that's exceedingly rare. But as we saw--it does happen. But next time, it could just as easily happen in favor of Texas. It's completely unpredictable.
Fuck that, Kirby Smart is the most insufferable bullshit artist douchebag of a coach.

I'm sure this has been asked before, probably by me, but it's beyond time to have our pool resurfaced. Any recommendations in the Houston area. I have no idea what to expect on cost as they seem to be all over the board. I want it done right though.
my input would be that there seems to be general contractor and performance contractor (not sure of official term) entities in this arena. General contractor would come out, bid it and then hire someone else to do the work. If you need 3 or 4 things done like fixing a pump and heater, resurfacing the pool and repairing a sidewalk or coping it might make more sense to have one guy managing all that but you are paying for the oversight.
If you want to go straight to the guy who does the work and owns the equipment then look for that, not a general pool service and repair company. You'll want the guys that do new pools and resurfacing.

I’d like to hear more about these tire factories. I’m intrigued.
Lol, I know there was one on the outskirts W of Tyler for a long time. Went from Goodyear to Michelin to Cooper over the years but it might not be open any more.

Oh also, I read that everyone now has about a credit card worth of plastic in them.
Next customer in checkout #5!
It said you ingest a credit card worth of plastic per week. You pass some of it but some of it accumulates in the body. You could have more than that in your tissues.

I was watching in a bar between throwing darts and that performance had several guys deciding they're going to get on the Spurs bandwagon.

Still rooting for Elko, even if it only means a Jimbo like extension.

I'm dealing with a shell failure too. Pissed at my pool builder who failed to have the right kind of insurance coverage for the lifetime warranty they offered.

They're everywhere during football broadcasts.
If they paid Teachers what they are offering ICE that would be something.

How the fuck do the Dems lose the messaging on this when House = R, Senate = R and White house = R, hell even the SC = R.
And all the messaging is "Dems holding out for benefits for documented immigrants."
If the Republicans wanted to govern they would. They want the fucking crisis of use as cover for other horrible shit they want to do..

Can we talk about Talarico and his opponents in the Talarico thread or do we need to rehash an old election for a different race?

There is a border checkpoint between Texas and New Mexico? I get we are our own country but didn't know this.
VAPA in the decked out Eagle Talon with 24 cameras to audit the check points with his windows up should have covered it.
