I may have missed it in the punctuation talk but has the question come up about Cannon's latest "non-order" where she fails to decide the law on the PRA after she asked both sides to submit the jury instructions?
Either the PRA applies to classified government documents or it does not (narrator: It does not) and that won't change mid-trial. Is she granting Trump a lifeline that if they seat a jury and jeopardy attaches she can erroneously decide that the PRA applies and dismiss the case? Why aren't we back to the 11th again?

Why are the Colorado presidential primary (March 5) and the general primary (June 25) separated by almost 4 months? Is it for the Schadenfreude?

How about the fact that he’s allowed to be a juror?
Probably one of the easiest dismissals from jury duty ever.
Judge: State your name
Chump: Kyle Ritten-
Judge: You're dismissed, next.

I think it's just that the posts seem to preponderate heavily toward "the system is shit" and not so much of how the system should be rethought. Without the how, it's just complaining, and to the extent that it's valid, it's pretty tiresome to read. That doesn't mean some of us who are pretty familiar with the judicial system don't agree. How to fix a "broken" system is a more interesting and useful discussion.

But this is a good start.
Yeah, apparently we don't have any laws on the books to define what Trump did leading up to Jan 6 so we can't charge him appropriately and the XIV Amendment used to be self executing but according to this SCOTUS it isn't anymore.

I swear to God, this is like that steam roller scene in Austin Powers. It's been happening in slow motion and nobody has lifted a finger to stop the inevitable and completely foreseeable terrible outcome

Who knows maybe that is his story after talking to his lawyer. Maybe the consequences of him not being the driver were worse due to conditions in the rental agreement. IDK.

Correct.
UT is also trying to coordinate with TxDOT and COA to get one from ~ MLK to Dean Keaton as a way to Expand the campus / Connect the existing bifurcated state of the campus as it sits now.
Although incredibly expensive, is really the only way for the central campus to expand and possibly the last time we have a shot at a contiguous UT.
I get goose bumps thinking about how awesome it would be to install a park or intramural fields or parking or tail gating amenities (maybe all of them!) over 35 while opening up current surface parking lots / old Red river alignment / the bubble and whatnot to further campus building or development.
This would be awesome not having the bottlenecks of crossing 35 over MLK or at Dean Keaton only. Back and forth between main campus and the tennis center, baseball and softball fields anywhere along that stretch would be transformational especially if it came with parking lots, amphitheater, additional sports fields and tailgating spots.

This is a pretty cool thing that's happening in Dallas with the help of Federal dollars. A deck park extending over I-35 that will connect the Dallas Zoo with the other side of Oak Cliff. The deck has already been installed over the highway. This will help pay for the work to go on top of it.
One of the I-35 redevelop0ment plans I saw for Austin used that model of burying the highway and building a park over the top to connect East and West sides of Austin.

Mrs. Canecutter uses a program that spits out similar chemistry problems but they all have different variables. She dances on their academic graves when they copy answers from the wrong test.
Once, early in my first Hell Job (teaching 9th graders with no training) I laid a whammy on their cheating ways. I gave them a multiple-choice test that appeared to be two versions- one had a cartoon dog at the top, the other had a cartoon flower. There were actually 4 versions that I had collated so when I handed them out, nobody had the same version as anybody near them. All answers were similar length. Told em not to copy.
BWAHAHAHAHAH
Got back A's, B's, and a shit-load of low F's. "Why did I get it wrong when Derek got it right?" "You had two different answers. Let's go over why this answer was the one."
Did the same thing a couple of times more until they learned that Mr. Canecutter was evil and crazy. Then I would just make one version, but with 4 different pictures at the top. Maybe somebody clued in. But that's OK, they were thinking.

Of course. But the only way Russia is actually taking territory from Ukraine today is by absolutely leveling it with artillery, glide bombs, and cluster munitions. Do you think there will come a time when Ukrainians decide they’d rather be slaves to Russia than die fighting for liberty? I get these sort of vibes:
Is that the scene from Men In Black where the bug sucks out his guts and then wears his skin as a disguise? Because yeah.

Going back 3 years I remember the motivations as:
- Population decline made it now or never
- Need to move back as close as possible to the Fulda Gap lines
- Ukraine's undeveloped Oil and Gas reserves on land an in the Black Sea.
- Warm water ports in the Black Sea
Only the population objective has taken a hit due to the war. If Russia is successful the other three are still wins.

So Axos may have had a choice, lose $175 million against book value right now, or potentially more on liquidated property right now. They may well still lose the same amount a few months from now, but at least for now they are able to kick the can down the road a bit.
Do I have that right?
If they took his stake in a property they hold the note on as collateral if he loses they get the whole property.

Our stuff is maintained and updated. 40 year old Russian armor still has the same engine oil it left the factory with. At least the little bit that hasn’t leaked out.
I was comparing it to the French gear being donated. The Russians are puting stuff from the 1950s back into service

Yes, I was going to say that this is the pattern you see out of the professional trolls and fake accounts. The create a lot of them, they like each others posts and support the arguments all while being the same person and they have a lot of dormant accounts so they don't look like new accounts all the time.
