Kansas complete frauds. 3 years ago they were supposed to be this up and coming program. People were saying Lance Leipold is a winner, Jalon Daniels will be a superstar Heisman candidate, facilities/stadiums are being upgraded, etc. Fast-forward to today and they still suck...even in a Big 12 without Texas and Oklahoma 😂
Good firing for both sides. 12+ years was a good run for a program like Penn State but it's time to move on. Franklin will get paid and probably end up on ESPN or FOX
I want to say Hugh Freeze and Brent Venables are the same but I think I'd rather take Freeze over BV. Either way though, both programs are going to continue being equal levels of mid
I know getting Ben Arbuckle was a packaged deal to get Mateer...but this is the risk these major programs take when they hire the flashy, young up-and-coming OC with little experience. You never know how they will look in these big games vs. quality competition, especially on the road. This was the biggest game of Arbuckle's career and he got taken to school. That's probably gonna happen a lot more this season in SEC play
TCU and OU have the same problem. The QBs get a lot of hype but they are finesse offenses with zero running game. At least Mateer can run though, Hoover might as well be a statue
We own this matchup now. When both teams are mid, we still win. When we're clearly better like 2024 and 2022, we blow them out by 30. I think there's a mental edge in this series that we haven't seen since the early years of Mack vs. Stoops when OU dominated.
We really ended OU's season! They might not get more than 1 win the rest of the way 😂 RIP to the John Mateer Heisman talk
