Kansas is done - they know their coach is about to take the Nebraska or Wisconsin job. Run up the score in the 2nd half...I need to see 70+ dropped on em
Looked terrible at OK State in the wind and now looked terrible in the "cold" weather...he might have to hit that transfer portal to a Pac 12 school where the weather is always nice
Dagger! Continued dominance of Klieman...he might have just let the clock run out all the way, I guess he didn't know he had 2 timeouts lol. He ain't beating us
Klieman just can't beat us. The curse was over as soon as Snyder retired. When Texas played KSU, Snyder knew how to get their less-talented teams to show up on Saturdays but Klieman hasn't been able to figure it out. But he doesn't have that problem against OU for some reason
Need the Ewers injury to not be too bad for me to feel better about this one. The team's ceiling now and in future years all depends on the QB and we need him to get through this year to get experience for 2023
This is a game that they would have lost in previous years...this was a poor shooting night but they protected the ball better, made their free throws, and made plays in crunchtime while Kansas did none of that.
It's one thing to have a hot shooting game like vs. Iowa State and win easily. But to shoot 41% from overall and 15% from three and still win shows how good this team can be
Looks like he was trying hard to get out of OU...can't blame him. He knows he has peaked with that school and moving to the SEC wasn't going to help, which also played into saying no to LSU too
Riley should accept it and I think he will. Both are similar big programs that should always recruit well. But just by history, OU has won only one championship in the 2000s while LSU has won it 3 times with different coaches. Going by the odds, he's more likely to win there.
The K-State Curse ended with Bill Snyder. He knew how to get the most out of those players and had our number. Klieman does not appear to be as good at "coaching them up", at least when they play us. They play OU tough though...for some reason he might be Riley's kryptonite
K-State is not that good...just like WVU but both will go bowling. Incredible that we could not even get 6 wins...it's not that hard to get bowl-eligible in this conference just by beating up the weaker teams.
Seems like it was always going to be Sonny...all those other names (ex: Deion) were just for publicity. They may have had an informal meeting but that's it. It's a boring hire but there's probably not much that TCU could do. Too many better jobs available than TCU during this cycle.
