  1. Bad luck with the injuries during the season and then the coronavirus shutting down workouts. He would have impressed at the Pro Day and team workouts to at least go in round 3. When he wasn't healthy early in the season and things weren't looking good, I said he should consider taking a redshirt. Coming back in 2020 fully healthy with a senior QB would have been easy to put up big numbers. He would have been an older prospect but if you're good enough, teams won't care (see Calvin Ridley drafted in the 1st round as a 24 yr old)
  2. Del Conte will say Shaka continues to be unlucky as he won't get the chance to go on a tourney run
  3. Every champion in every sport this year is gonna have the Coronavirus asterisk?
  4. CDC will say Shaka was just unlucky today
  5. Got humbled in the 1st half but it's a long game. Can Shaka motivate them to come back?
  6. Looking at the big picture, I could honestly see a Sweet 16 run. It's gonna be like K-State 2 years ago when they made the Elite 8. Fluke season for Bruce Weber...Shaka will do the same
  7. Good win...Texas is gonna do some damage in the Big XII tournament. They handled TX Tech in Lubbock and then still won at Norman despite the free throw disparity. Just gotta face it, this is one of the better teams in the conference and if a few things go right, they can beat Baylor or Kansas
  8. Congrats to OP. Prediction might finally be coming true
  9. In a down year as a whole for the conference, Texas is really looking like one of the better teams. Winning on the road in Lubbock (not an easy place to play) shows that they could probably beat anyone outside of Baylor/Kansas on a neutral court. They're definitely making the tournament
  10. Same ol' story. Home court usually wins out in this conference
  11. He will be safe. Finishing as a middle of the pack team in the conference with a shot at the tournament will be enough for CDC, who is looking for ANY excuse to keep him. Only way he gets fired now or in future seasons is if they have a completely rock bottom year where they finish last or close to last.
  12. The Shaka Sell Job is on full display by this announcer. "Most impressive win of Shaka's time at Texas" Lol
  13. Looking like another 8-10 season in the conference. A year where everyone sucks outside of Kansas and Baylor
  14. That NIT championship experience hasn't helped in these last 2 games
  15. Baylor getting exposed. OU was able to shut them down in the Big XII championship aside from a few fluke plays that kept them in it. The UGA defense is not even breaking a sweat, Rhule might as well wave the white flag to start the 2nd half and get the backups some experience
  16. Baylor doesn't look ready. Too distracted with Rhule and the NFL. UGA should blow em out
  17. We just outclassed Utah tonight. They're not used to that level of football in the Pac-12...punched them in the mouth and they quit. We may not be great but a mid-tier Pac-12 program is rarely gonna beat us in a bowl game
  18. All Tom Herman does is win bowl games. He might not win a ton every week from September to December but give him 4 weeks to prepare and he's one of the best in the country. Now he has to show enough consistency in a season to get us in a bowl game that matters.
  19. Good game plan on defense. Shut down the run, it's all Utah can really do on offense. They're not much of a passing team
  20. Blow them out...Utah is the definition of frauds. They haven't beaten anyone good all year and have barely played anyone good in the first place. Would have been even uglier than OU if they had made the playoffs
  21. K-State with the meltdown. Should have called timeout after the 3rd down stop. Maybe Navy doesn't go for it
  22. Complete mismatch. Also, Campbell is so overrated...he would be wise to stay at Iowa State for a LONG time where he can live off of the "underdog"/"still better than Paul Rhoads" label forever. He can be a 7-8 win coach every year over there but if he moves to a bigger program, I think he will be exposed big-time.
  23. Mack has his flaws but one thing he was always pretty good at was getting them ready for bowl games. Probably one of the best in the country at using those extra weeks of practice
  24. Welp congrats to the LT/NS winner now
