I remember that I was 19 when I voted for Romney. Those were easier times.
It was meant to be a joke about young people not voting in this poll. It was apparently a shitty joke since I have to explain it.

25. I figured there would be a lot more younger people on here than 7.
Everyone knows young people don't vote.

Sneak peak of the terminal expansion:
Austin and Texas culture take center stage in a dramatic new terminal and apron expansion currently under construction at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The expansion will add nearly 175,000 square feet and nine new gates to the terminal, increasing the gate total to 34 and international flight gates from two to six.
Designed by Gensler, with Hensel Phelps as the main contractor, the expansion maintains the modernist bent of the original terminal (also designed by Gensler), but takes its influences from older regional sources, including the dance hall in Greune, Texas, and Austin’s famous moonlight towers. The dance-hall influence can be seen on the planned concourse, which is meant to have an open, relaxing feel and will feature shops and a food hall. At the end of the concourse will be a two-story, moontower-influenced structure that will feature Parkside restaurant on the ground floor, open to all passengers, and Delta’s Sky Club lounge on the mezzanine level.

So, who thinks Mitch McConnell is going to force his caucus to walk the plank for this guy five weeks before an election?
I realize that I'm several pages behind, but are we not doing phrasing anymore?

as long as this is a pointless thread, Papalote is an interesting place. There's Torchy's, which is for white people, and then there's Arandas/Arandinas/Vallarta/Jaliscienses/etc. I figured Papalote was another uppity white person taco place, and maybe it is a little bit, but I went in and ended up eating chicharron.
Man, I love me some Papalote. Almost stopped there after work today, but I needed to make a run at Central Market.

The thing is the Republicans don't care if every accusation against Kavanaugh is true. That's irrelevant. He's their guy and they're going to get him confirmed. He's a Republican who will vote for Republican causes and, most importantly, protect the Republican president from indictment for his crimes. Kavanaugh could've held the altar boys down while the priest raped them in the rectory and the GOP would still support him.
Rectory raping sounds really bad...and painful.

Bill is a legend and will be treated like a King. You people are nuts; it's not like he diddled kids or anything that felons kill other felons over.
Yeah, I agree. Doubt anyone will fuck with the Coz.

And when he ran for president the left classified him as literally Hitler.
Negged for telling a flat-out lie. Had you said Bush or Trump, you could've gotten away with it, because some did/have. Never McCain though.

Setting aside the merits (or lack thereof) for the allegations from 3-4 different women, after what the Republicans did to Merrick Garland, they have forfeited their right to bitch about tactics and partisanship. Where do you assholes get off thinking that this "political theater" is beyond the pale? Y'all not only lowered the bar in 2016, you fucking snapped it in half and tossed it aside. You can all go get fucked.

Doesn't look like we'll get that sweet cold front they were chatting up last week, but at least caught something almost resembling a puny "cooler" front yesterday and today. Actually managed to walk around downtown Houston yesterday before Stros game without getting drenched in sweat and even sat outside for pre-game drinks. Unfortunately, it seems it was just a cruel tease as we look set for a return to Central-American rainforest climate for the rest of the week.
Still not a single day with a temperature in the 60's on the 15-day forecast all the way out to October 8th. We're basically looking at 2 straight weeks of temps in the high 80's and scattered showers. That's some bullshit right there.
I'll take a week or so of low 80s. Just walked back to my office in an ever-so-slight breeze, and it felt downright cool-ish outside. Tomorrow's gonna suck shit though.

It’s by far Cruz’ biggest crowd (that’s been posted here at least) and it still pales in comparison.

Big John's feeling feisty tonight. You would think that at least three corroborating witnesses would count for something.

Believing that Kavanaugh will not testify if given the chance out of fear of a Kamala Harris cross examination is a laughably ridiculous notion that someone who gets all their thoughts from twitter posts might latch on to. If you are confident that you are right, then let's make a permanent ban wager on whether he testifies or not if given the chance.
He probably posted that gif because he thinks you're naive to believe his appointment won't be withdrawn before Thursday.

You are wrong. He has said from the beginning that he wants the opportunity to testify to clear his name as soon as possible. He has not been the cause for any delays nor has he given any ridiculous stipulations for testifying. He will testify at the first opportunity.
1You're showing your ass by throwing out that line.

Here's the list of members I was asking for? Y'all probably already knew this but I hadn't been following this story too closely until the past couple of days.
https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/about/members
So both Cruz and Cornyn are on it. Maybe this will give Beto a little more ammo for the next debate.

They’re drunk on power. They’re doing this because they can and no one can stop them.
The biggest loser in all this is a legitimate conservative movement because this is the type of shit that will turn people off to the Republican Party for the rest of their lives.
They are pushing independents to become democrats permanently.
Where can I get a list of all the Republicans on this committee who already knew about this latest allegation?

Just now, deech said:
What's ridiculous is not per se another allegation or another with Avenatti. It's that Republican leaders have known about this New Yorker story for at least a week now and are still trying to jam Kavanaugh through.
True to form.
