Yea that makes me odd not remembering the game 20 years ago if Holmes was playing or not by just making conversation like every other thread.

Not remembering is NOT odd at all. Thinking anybody cares enough to do the research for you is odd. If you aren’t going to add any content at least don’t sidetrack and hope others do your work for you. It’s odd.

    Priest played before 1998.

Off topic: priest played until 96. I was at a game around that time, but maybe 97 maybe 98. The WORST monsoon ever. I swear priest was playing but maybe not. Am I wrong on the dates?

You are one odd dude. Google it yourself. Nobody else cares.

That's because they have 0% chance of even getting them to answer their phone call.

I love the denial they are in as Texas has continued whipping their ass along the lines. Green and Leal need to produce at a level that makes it feel like there are two of them, because outside of those 2, Texas has cleaned up.

Green AND Leal are a total of 2 people stupid sip.

I don't think that's fair. Bust usually is associated with play on the field. A guy turning straight B&E and brandishing a weapon should be it's own category, IMO.

Yea this is depressing. Not sure why I brought it up. Let’s move on. Mea culpa.

Jason Smith from Baylor comes to mind

Foster Sarell and Walker Little is a great example. Same position, nearly identical measurables and ranking, committed to same school. Walker is AA, Sarell isn’t even starting. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Tray Allen is in the running for G.O.A.T. among Texas recruiting busts. Actually, he is the G.O.A.T.

Nope. Has to be Andre Jones. High 4 star who not only was a criminal but corrupted and drug down Robert Joseph.  Hard to beat that combo of destruction.

No you weren’t “simply asking” —- you were shitting in the punch bowl and now your walking it back, while trying to deflect from being a front runner shitheel. Own it FFS. Playing stupid while being stupid is an interesting gambit.

Then quote my post where I was shitting on him. Quote it.

Lying about the school equivalent of the recruit is shitting on him.

From your post - “A team full of #373's in the countryequals kansas state.”

Van is a 88.88 composite. Clemson’s average recruit last year was a 89.76 for #10 class in nation. Kansas State average was 83.97. HUGE lie by you that you never retracted. He’s much closer to the average recruit at Michigan or Clemson than Kansas State.

Let me explain how conversations usually work.
Person A “Why is the new iPhone exciting? I haven’t researched.”
People B,C,D “While it has limitations here is why it’s exciting. Also, here are some articles with details”
Person A either responds “those limitations are a deal breaker for me” or responds “thank you. I now see why the new iPhone is exciting”.
Those are the only polite options since you were the person who didn’t research and yet asked the question anyway. Saying you feel nothing is disingenuous and rude to the people who bothered to respond.

This is more serious than I thought. Apologies.

It’s not serious, your approach was just odd. My suggestion is to do your own research before asking a question in a negative manner. If you don’t research on your own, just thank the people that did and answered your question. You don’t have to agree with them, just acknowledge that they answered a question that you care about and be honest that you care about the projected success or failure of the recruit.

Yep just questioning. Never did I say he sucks. But keep attacking.

And people explained in detail and with examples why it was exciting. You never acknowledged the validity of their points or admitted that you were wrong in comparing him to the average KSU recruit. After getting the answer to your question how do you feel about Van now?

He’s too busy telling us Van Fillinger is really a shitty prospect/commit we shouldn’t be excited about all while sporting a Truth Dont Lie shirt.

Point out where I said he was shitty. I'll hang up and listen.

You might not have explicitly said it but you said K State was full of Fillinger type prospects. That’s an insult. And incorrect. KSU hasn’t signed a single prospect rated as high as Van in 3 years. You doubted a signee with no justification for your doubt and added factual inaccuracies. That’s a shitty thing to do.

People probably asked Saban why he took Josh Jacobs. OU offered late and Texas never offered. I’m pretty sure he was a 3*. Sometimes you have to watch the film (highlights) and do your homework.

Sweet, so saban hit on a 3 star, and you already have van playing on sundays. You are absolutely missing my point.

Nobody is saying we should turn down 5 stars for 3 stars or guaranteeing Pro success. Every class is going to have some 3 stars and Van is the type of 3 star you want - great physical gifts and huge upside. If he doesn’t develop I trust Herman to manage the roster, unlike Mack. You are trying to dampen reactions that are already properly adjusted.

    1) stop promoting candidates that promise executive action on gun control. Kamala especially has harped on this.

    2) nominate a candidate that doesn’t embrace the US foreign policy orthodoxy. It’s telling that basically the only time Surly and the political establishment applaud Trump is when he’s bombing Syria or otherwise taking aggressive stances in foreign policy.  (Bernie? Tulsi? Lol)

    3) address the border situation in a common sense way. Congrats you’ve gotten past the point where you act like it’s a “manufactured crisis”. Now how about less grandstanding about illegal immigration not being illegal or illegal immigrants should get more benefits than citizens already here.

Those are just a few things that popped in my head first, but I am merely one reluctant Trump voter. I think all 3 of those would apply to most though with varying importance for different people.

It was a joke you mouth breather. We know you and your cult are going to vote for Trump. You have the awareness of a fruit fly.

There is no way, in 2019, on an island allegedly stocked with teen-aged girls, that every square inch wasn't at some point thoroughly, compulsively photographed, then uploaded covered in filters of hearts, ponies, various solidarity flags, and puppy faces.

That was actually Georgia, but yeah.

You are both right. Alabama in 2011.  Georgia in 2012.  I’m sure the 3rd time will be a charm for this idiotic policy.

I haven’t watched the WSOP main event on tv in years. Have they been running it live for a while now? Because it’s dreadfully boring.

They’ve been doing it a couple years but this year is horrifically bad. This year should be exhibit A that ESPN does NOT rig action flops or control televised poker. Just a bunch of non-action preflop and flop action. Players not being that creative. Just a bore fest. I think it shows that they got lucky to have action tables and creative players before(I think Charlie Carrel and I can’t remember others).

I don’t know how it works but I would scan Twitter/watch tables to find action tables and move the whole table to Broadcast.

For example, Galen Hall was posting about his table going multiway 3/4 bet to every flop and the crazy action. I’d rather see a crazy table with a minor poker pro(Hall) over a shortstacked and half asleep Moneymaker. I think Galen ended with 300K after day one and several others at his table ended with huge stacks.

The simplicity of the Q grift is amazing in that anyone would be brash enough to think that the basics would work so well. Getting that kind of conspiracy traction with such fundamental bullshit would seem like a doomed blueprint in its infancy. But underestimating hostility would've been how I would fail where they succeeded. Accompanied with the fantastical conspiracy theories, there's a consistent strain of offering the indulgence of witnessing public  humility and barbaric brutality carried out on your political opponents. Once they kicked that possibility out there the intended audience ran wild with it. They understood the appetite and the followers let the fantasy spread like an allergic rash. "I'm gonna get to watch Madonna get beheaded next to Jeb Bush!" The lesson is to keep it dumb. Never fear being too dumb. Once you stop to think whether it's too fantastical, you've already failed by overthinking.

Only the absurdity of the posts is shocking to me. But you shouldn’t be surprised that people will send money to be told what they want to hear. And it’s not just aggy. A 16 year old kid scammed the Florida Gator fanbase out of thousands by claiming to be an insider.

Sounded like he was drunk. The stack was in play but no player. He was obv joking (I would be much more concerned if he swiped an orange chip or something, obv no one thinks they can get away with just taking 60k chips at 100/200) but yeah you can’t do that. Esp since he apparently just crashed them all into a pile rather than just sliding the stack next to his with a knowing sheepish look or something.

Found a pic and he looked WASTED.  Also I read that he grabbed a chip stack twice. That seems like a more likely story for a DQ. “Jokingly” grabbing a stack once is egregious but TDs really don’t want to DQ. Twice forces their hand.
