  1. People found #NakedBandit twitter account. @kpittboy It’s exceedingly ordinary. I feel bad for him when he sobers up/comes back to reality. The Twitter is just a “normal” sports and poker superfan. Maybe he’s an asshole and my read is off but I just am guessing he’s going through something.

Gotta call. So you would fold KK if someone jammed and showed A5? Fold 99 on 984 if someone jammed and showed JT?

I would fold 55 to a blind allin but not to an exposed Q3 with no action behind.

No one is good enough to pass up 70/30s and ICM isn’t a factor on Day 1.

I mean, fuck, I’m not folding and we all know I’m basically 0% to beat a guy who blind jams Q3o and then pulls his dick out and hits me with a shoe.

Thank you. I totally agree but just wanted confirmation. Posters advocating for a fold greatly overestimate their edge over the field.

  3. @TXSooner518 The shoe thrower exposed Q3o after his allin. Player in SB had 55. Is that a call in first level of WSOP? I think it is but am genuinely curious.

Over at table #317 in the Pavilion Yellow section, a massive incident occurred just before the break involving a player that subsequently got DQ'd from the tournament. According to the table, the player went all in blind before flipping over his hand, revealing the   .

In seat one, a player was contemplating his decision holding   , a favorite with information about the exposed hand.

"I'm all-in blind! Look, I'm blind everybody" the all-in player yelled as he covered his eyes and turned around. He then lowered his pants and mooned the table. While the #1 seat was still considering his decision, he then took off his shoes and threw them around, with one of them actually hitting the #1 seat as he was in the tank.

The #1 seat later disclosed to PokerNews that he ended up calling, but lost out to the   . Shortly after, the player in question got DQ'd from the tournament and was escorted out of the premise

Some other guy went all-in blind, dropped trou, then threw a shoe at a player and dealer. If these people don't care about 10k, I'll gladly take it...

Was just going to post this. What is going on today? Also he did exposed his hand after going allin.

  5. How not to steal chips ...

Over at 2015 World Champion Joe McKeehen's table in the Brasilia Red section, a player has been disqualified in the 2019 WSOP Main Event after not even one hour of play on Day 1c.

According to several players at the table, after winning a small pot, the player in question reached out to his left-hand neighbor's stack as well and scooped up his entire stack in the process to add it to his. Allegedly, the player did so with a smile on his face.

The player subsequently got disqualified for stealing another person's chips at the table and will not be active in the 2019 Main Event anymore. It was Jack Effel who came over and escorted the player out of the tournament area. His chips will be taken out of play, while his buy-in stays in the prize pool.

  6. AUS - nice write up but you should be ECSTATIC to have him call with QJ on the double bomb pot. Wanting to “take the money” when you have 60% equity is understandable but not when villain has to hit a 4 outer followed by a 6 outer to scoop. That’s less than 2% odds.

How can the market decide when the company, due entirely to the opinion of one person connected to the company, decides to pull the shoe before it ever gets presented to the market?

How can the market decide that Ishtar 2.0 isn’t wanted if IT HAZENT EvaeN bEeN RelEASed?

Emaw dismissing the multi billion dollar market research industry as irrelevant. Genius.

that fact that he remains a 4* is a fucking riot. I'm glad I got to see that vid before that troglodyte Brauninger took it down because it's wasn't just how fucking slow he was -- it was the struggle for forward momentum. dude was fighting with himself and losing. just brutal. so funny.

Totally. Glad I posted it before it got taken down.

  10. Bryce Yockey(the guy who lost the bad beat 2-7 hand) and Connor Drinan are among the final 13 in the $10K Omaha hi/lo. Connor is famous for the worst recorded bad beat before this. He’s the guy who lost with AA against AA in the 1st $1M one drop. Would be funny if they got heads up and it was decided via a horrific bad beat.

  11. Blacklab probably has the closest Hold ‘em comparison but the crazy thing about this hand is that a lot of hands that Arieh would love to have after the 1st draw would leave Arieh stone DEAD.

    Steps needed:

    1.  Arieh can’t draw a 7 or 8 on 1st draw because he would definitely keep those. He might keep a 9 too. Keeping any of those cards would have him drawing dead.

    2.  After the 2nd draw he has to have exactly 2 3 4 5 6. No other hand would cause Arieh to discard the 6. Straights count so he has to break the straight.

    3. The 6 has to be replaced by a 7.

It’s not just the 3 outer at end.  ALOT of steps have to happen exactly as described to get to the path of discarding the 6 and drawing live.

It's a low game where you get three chances to toss and redrraw cards, and 75432 is the best possible hand.

76432 is the second best hand.

The one guy was dealt the second best hand, and the other guy drew to the nuts.

In hold em it would be like flopping 4 of a kind and the other guy hitting runner runner strait flush.

The odds of starting with the 2nd best hand is 1 in 2,500. Arieh started with 6 5 3 for his 3 keepers. If he kept those 3 cards during all three draws he is drawing dead. Just keeping the 6 would keep him drawing dead(of course Arieh doesn’t know this). So he was to draw EXACTLY a 2 and a 4 by the 2nd draw. His hand has to be exactly 6 5 4 3 2 - a straight. IF AND ONLY IF he has 6 5 4 3 2 will he throw away the 6. Then, once he throws away the 6 he has to draw one of the three 7s.  So he has to draw “perfect” to force him to throw away the 6.

Just to illustrate, if he draws a 7 and a 2 after the 1st draw Arieh would have 7 6 5 3 2. He would NEVER split that hand and would be dead. So he has to avoid drawing “second best” on 1st so he draws EXACTLY a straight on 2nd draw. 6 5 4 3 2 is the ONLY path to throwing away the 6.

Suit yourself. Even if he gets the best coaching in the world, I seriously doubt he'll be more than "good" (which, of course, would be better than what we're likely to end up with) but back in January and February, when such plans should have been made, there were a ton of guys as good or better available who ought to have been priorities.

    List those guys please.

    Which one?

You know which one. A team having an unexpectedly great year and that resulting in dramatically improved recruiting for that year’s recruiting class. Not the class two years later, the class immediately after the breakout win season.

Not to defend Giles or any of the other fucksticks, but this program is at a point where it's much much much more important to win games than it is to get commits in the summer.  If we go 7-5, half of the class is going to decommit.  Win the Big 12, make the playoffs, and we'll have committed 5-stars flying in to visit in December.

Can you provide one example of this happening ever in the history of college football?  Thanks in advance.

So Bill Belichick would naturally be a great recruiter? He’s known for his great relationships and how those have translated into Super Bowl Titles.

Belichick would be an incredible recruiter. He would form relationships using his football knowledge and love of the game. Most recruits and their high school coaches would be in awe. The less serious players maybe not. You don’t have to do sleepovers or be gregarious to build relationships.

I never referenced survival of the fittest. If guys like S2YB survive and thrive here, it's an indictment of the board's self-anointed and alleged ruthlessness in and of itself. This board is pretty soft, honestly. It saw a target of opportunity and took its shot. Fine by me, but it would actually be impressive to witness a crowdsourcing that took effort. It's never happened. No poster with more than 100 +rep points has ever been crowdsourced. Much of the bravado on this site facilitates a Magic Shell version of a fortress of savages. Tough, crunchy exterior that is easily cracked through into its hollow insides.

You put way too much thought in to this. Yikes.

So let me get this straight, you guys just got a dude banned who was cutting his teeth learning how to post and actively engaged in the conversation? And then the S2YB rube shows up around the same time to remind us that word soup is a thing and you guys start actively engaging him in conversation to remind those of us who have put him on ignore that he exists? Yet you haven't actually done a fucking thing about remedying the site of his insipid shit when that would legitimately be a productive crowdsourcing? And then, AND THEN, you go all fucking elitist on the football board in the middle of that?

Fucking solid work. I'm all for clubbing baby seals, but it would be more impressive to take down the manatee with 360 rep points that floats by this board to slow fart, groan, and generally get in the way.

Learning how to post? Fucking lol. Learning would be not knowing the inside jokes and asking what CB meant. That’s not what SWC was doing. He was shitposting/trolling and his ban was well deserved. But you only mentioned him as an excuse to bash Spider2. Yawn.

I don’t blame Giles because I know first hand how hard it is to go fishing in Austin.  I went down to the dock under Mopac on the north side and these huge butch Euro women in UT gear came and told me fishing was not authorized from the crew dock.  So I went over to the mouth of Barton Creek and on my first cast accidentally snagged a kayaker. I cut the line when he started to cuss and furiously row over to the bank.  thankfully by the time he got there I had disappeared out of the brush into Zilker.  Greenbelt, forget it.  And you get basically run over and swamped by ski boats and cigarette boats with drunk lawyers everywhere on LA and LT.  I don’t blame Broughton one bit because a man has to fish.

Imagine trying this hard and being this unfunny. Cringe.
