  1. Tend to agree but the analyst/GM route isn’t so black or white. A) He could still help fix the defense from those roles depending on specifics. B) I doubt CDC really has the power to fire Sark and replace him with GP. Jay and Eltife are the ones who’d have to go that route and I don’t see a situation where they’d pick GP as the permanent replacement. C) if Sark wins games, none of the above matters bc he ain’t getting canned. So as long as GP is in some role to help fix the defense and where he’s clearly beneath Sark, I’m ok with it.
  2. I guess that's why IT actually named him. That'd be a great get at imo our biggest position of need. Actually makes some sense for him too - he's behind Dallas Turner (Fr) and Will Anderson (So) on the depth chart so likely won't be starting next year either at Bama.
  3. I'm surprised IT actually mentioned Drew Sanders by name. Seems like they usually refrain form naming anyone not already in the portal. Would be a good addition to the Denton Ryan Pipeline.
  4. So he read IT and then made something up about Ewers being impressed. Cool.
  5. Not surprising at all that they did this after seeing the Burnt Ends example
  6. Yeah it's actually a pretty logical pick even without the gf (cool town near a big metro, close to home, etc). NIL is probably the biggest weakness though for UNC.
  7. Creepy that someone pieced this together but..undefeated?
  8. Kelly is cleaning house to build it up his own way. Interestingly Tiger Droppings is happy about this one. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back at A&M to replace Malchow
  9. Let him continue to think that so they finally shut up about it.
  10. SIAP but this is great:
  11. That was also one day after Cincy clinched the playoffs. I suspect Fickell was on the list
  12. Yeah not over yet I suppose. I'm not saying to fire everyone but clearly something wasn't working. Even if not on-field, I expected changes to the support staff, etc.
  13. So are we done with staff changes? Players are about to arrive on campus in like a week. Can't believe nothing has happened other than Coleman/Drayton. Good thing our defense was SO well coached last year
  14. Imagine still thinking your program is taking the high road after hiring notorious slimeball Jimbo Fisher, multiple offseason player arrests, continuing to let an indicted felon play all season, blatantly cheating at historic levels, and possibly hiring a coach that literally got one of his own players killed.
  15. Dude you just need to embrace it and come out of denial. Everyone knows that A&M is paying record amounts for guys like Walter Nolen, Enai White, Denver Harris, and Evan Stewart. Otherwise none of those guys would have even considered A&M. It is what it is. I understand why you don't want to believe it but you just gotta accept it and move on. Enai White, Deyon Bouie, Leveon Moss, Anthony Lucas, maybe Shemar Stewart. But yeah I'm sure kids from all those places just love College Station and really want to play for an 8-4 team with no DC and no champs in 80 years, all because "got Jimbo!"
  16. So OU hired a rape enabler OC and Aggy might hire a DC that killed a kid. I guess we know where our rivals' priorities lie.
  17. I gotcha. Who knows. I would've thought the most likely spots were USC, OU, Miami (depending on OC), Ole Miss, UGA, UNC, in that order. With Clemson a sleeper. OU clearly out with the Gabriel news. But obviously I don't know how much location is a factor. Honestly it'll probably end up just being what everyone expected from the beginning - USC. Just like Ewers and Texas. I mean why wouldn't Lincoln take him and let Dart walk? Kind of a no-brainer for him.
  18. Watch y'all get Jaxson Dart if Caleb goes to USC. The musical chairs are still spinning... But honestly fuck Gabriel if I were a UCLA fan. Flipping this late is weak af. Guess they should've pressured him to sign earlier.
  19. Wow that was surprisingly quick. Guess Caleb really is gone for sure
  20. They're probably gonna need to hire an OC first... But hey, he's an East Coast guy, Miami can offer some major NIL, and Cristobal had Justin Herbert, so if they get a good OC it doesn't seem crazy at all
  21. If he's thinking near DC, Clemson and UNC could be options. DJ U hasn't exactly locked down the job there and Howell is gone after becoming a top NFL prospect. I can't see ND being the choice bc of NIL and QB track record. Ole Miss seems to be ponying up for Zach Evans, why not Caleb too.. Miami could also be an interesting sleeper depending on their OC choice.
  22. Has Gabriel not signed with UCLA yet? @Sbbruin
  23. Yeah it's obvious what they mean, but just vague enough that they can claim otherwise in the off chance someone comes sniffing.
  24. I guess they worded it just vaguely enough that they can claim something like "we just meant we'll help him win a Heisman which would boost his NIL opps" even though that's obviously not what they mean. Still very weird to say it publicly.
