This is my 1st time entering this thread & based on reading the last few pages... is it safe to assume that the the rest of CFB has caught up to Aggy when it comes to "NIL" (both legal & illegal) & that's why they are no longer dominating recruiting like they did last recruiting cycle?
Watched OB's Overreaction Monday podcast earlier today & Ketch said that UT getting Mitchell doesn't move him because he considers Mitchell a player that needs be in the weight room 2-3 years before he ever sees the field. Ehhhh...do y'all agree with that?
Wes Welker & Danny Amendola are definitely the "Slot" archetype. Current NFL WRs who fit the "Route Runner" archetype are Devante Adams, Amari Cooper, DeVonta Smith, Jerry Judy, & etc.
Any of y'all play the Madden NFL video games?
Of the 4 Madden Ultimate Team WR Archetypes (Route Runner, Deep Threat, Physical, & Slot).... Is it safe to assume Johntay fits the "Route Runner" WR archetype the best?
Seeing as Troy Omeire has torn his ACL each of his first 2 fall camps at UT, how realistic he ever lives up to the hype he was receiving during 2020 Fall Camp? I notice nobody ever talks about how he looked during 2021 Fall Camp before the 2nd ACL injury.
I thought the OC & DC hires Clemson made this offseason could be potential disasters. There's no way UT fans/media would be fine with just promoting assistant coaches to be the OC/DC of Texas was in that situation.
Sounds about right. A lot of folks felt UT should wait for post-spring ball portals transfers, but I've always felt the best portal transfers are going be the post-regular season transfers. Most of the post-spring ball portal transfers are guys who are unhappy with their depth chart spot during Spring Football (the part of the year when every school will have it's lowest roster depth). If a player isn't good enough for the depth chart during spring football, how good are they?
I thought agents were only allowed for NCAA players that are entering into pro sports drafts. Since when are current players going into another season of NCAA eligibility allowed to have an agent?
