  1. Future interview with Gundy after firing is official. Ed O paraphrased it presciently, "Toodle loo, motherfuckers!"
  2. Maybe, but most of us don't care enough about Okie Lite to post there much. Especially when we no longer play 'em.
  3. You forgot to include the concerning, lower launch angle of our new placekicker. We could see a few blocked FGs this year. I'll show myself out...

Hell, I'd forgotten Lagway even went to Willis. Bad choice, kid.
  5. Sarcasm is often difficult to read in print. I should've included an emoji 😛
  6. ...and face the wrath of the venerable 12th Man and over 100k aggy? Unlikely
  7. Johnny Football 2.0 We'll be okay, since 0u doesn't have a Mike Evans playing WR
  8. I saw us do an interesting wrinkle on defense against UTEP. Simmons lines up on the LT with Moore outside of him. #1 drops back into what appears to be coverage, short zone over the middle, but is really spying the QB. He tackled him for no gain when the pocket collapsed and the QB tried to escape. We can run similar combinations of this with Simmons, Moore, Spence, and Ant Hill. Who's coming? Good luck, Mateer.
  9. It could be if the SEC wants the schedule to be more "balanced". Personally, I'd rather not see Miss St, UK, or Vandy again next year. I definitely wanna see LSU and Tennessee ASAP, though. Helmet games
  10. No, I expect UF vs UT to be sold out with no parking anywhere near the stadium since Texas hasn't played there since 1940. It may be different when UF plays Long Island U
  11. Maybe, but the SEC has so many good match-ups we may catch a break. Bama isn't that much tougher than Mizzou these days. Drink has them playing well. Sked isn't that much easier, IMO.
  12. A church acquaintance is a BlowU grad who coached his son's youth football teams. He'd call me to discuss the rules and potential trick plays. He described a hideout play he wanted to run, which I discouraged. Just because you can get away with it due to rookie officials' ignorance doesn't mean you should. I reminded him to spend less time trying to fool people with deceptive bullshit and more time on blocking and tackling.
  13. Myself I doubt that's what happened in this game unless the officials on that particular crew are retarded.
  14. "...and now, on the main stage let's give it up for Brexli !"
  15. Nah, I'd go with Simon unless you're in 3rd & long and need a RB for max protect. Blue wasn't good at blocking, either. I hope the kid has good hands. I see he's caught 2 passes for a whopping 2 yards, total.
  16. GaTech was the last Russell Athletic-sponsored team back in 2017, I think.
  17. It's just such a chickenshit play. Ranks right up there with faking injuries to stop the clock. No integrity
  18. Your co-worker must not like you that much. 🙃
  19. That's been pointed out to me a couple of times. I guess expecting a coach to do his due diligence on an important player is asking too much. Measureables like launch angle for kicks are probably beyond his grasp.
  20. Yeah, I tried to educate him more politely. He could be a dirt burglar, so he's already got enough problems.
  21. TXHSFB plays by NCAA Rules. As officials, we were instructed that if a player runs out wide past the numbers, chances are he's "simulating being taken out or substituted". That's exactly what OU did. Intentionally trying to deceive the defense (and the officials). Should've been an easy UNS for the flank officials, but they were obviously asleep at the wheel. Bad look for the SEC.
  22. Yeah, but most teams have pick plays in their books. UT's mesh routes are designed that way. Receivers can't run to contact on purpose, otherwise it's OPI.
