  1. adidas would, but UA has been breaking/canceling contracts with a few collegiate "partners". See UCLA
  2. I was wondering if/when Uncle Phil was gonna assert himself. "Just how much do you like your Nike/Jumpman apparel contracts? I'd sure hate to pull any advertising on B1G broadcasts." He's old enough not to worry about much besides his legacy, especially at UO.
  3. Using this logic, it makes perfect sense for the Big 12 to stand pat unless they're able to add P5 teams + pro rata increase. Why open the door for SDSU, Boise, UNLV, or Fresno? Just increased competition for T1/T2 exposure.
  4. Why not both? It's a kill shot for a competing P5 league. ESPN wants the inventory. Without reading the Big 12 contract, ESPN probably didn't offer a pro rata increase for G5's. But, why wouldn't SDSU accept less to "buy into" a P5? It's been suggested that both UO and UW should for B1G membership. What do MWC teams earn on their media deal? ESPN has their T1 and T2 rights, correct?

  6. Mark McGuire's little brother, Dan, played QB for them years ago. I'd think UNLV would be more attractive bc it's a major metro that's still growing and has more upside potential than Fresno. I'll LMAO if both ASU and Utah balk and get left behind bc "academic prestige".
  7. By what metrics are UH and Cincy appreciably better than SDSU? Are their TV ratings that much higher? Now factor in their opponents. You don't think Big 12 membership will raise SDSU's profile and fan engagement? I'm not necessarily arguing for SDSU, but I can see the Big 12 taking them if they can only lure 2-3 PAC teams.
  8. See? Those of you bangin' on the PAC for going 60%+ streaming don't realize or understand Kliavkoff is really a visionary. 😰
  9. The Runnin' Rebels are back, baby! Big 16 !!!
  10. Well, he dresses the part...
  11. No, because I doubt Deion put much of his own money into Prime Prep. But, maybe I'm wrong.
  12. After practicing all spring? Deion and his staff had enough time to review film and decide whether many of these kids fit into their plans. I guess it's his prerogative to cut players later, but Gray and others could've spent spring practice elsewhere. Now they're even further behind.
  13. Thanks for sharing The Athletic articles here and saving a few of us $1.50/mo. What a dick move by Coach Prime, cutting a legacy kid like Gray after the spring game.
  14. Yeah, it's the SEC team's habit of scheduling November FCS cupcakes that really piss you off. Including their own fans and especially their season ticket holders. Soon all P5 conferences will adopt a 9-game league schedule to maximize their media contracts. I'm surprised ACC is still at 8. TV should give them a pro rata increase for this consideration.
  15. Where would ND move hockey if not the B1G? ACC supports everything else, including lacrosse. I guess ND could've petitioned Hockey East for membership to be with Boston College and Providence, among others.
  16. St. Prime? Triple word score for "hagiography" and, yes, I think CU is in deep shit too. At least short-term. Their first 5 games are brutal.
  17. Liucci as the lapdog is the chef's kiss. One of you assholes should share it with him. Maybe add AD Bjork holding a shotgun to Jimbo's back?
  18. I don't think Nebraska will ever be back. The Big 12 nixed Prop 48/partial qualifiers, which was a sticking point leading to their decline. B1G doesn't accept them either. Where are they getting recruits these days? I don't care enough about Corn to look.
  19. @Al_4_ISU I like the colors on your 2013 throwback better. What did that helmet look like, anyway? How long were the ISU teams called the AMES?
  20. Fear? What aggy frightened you?
