  1. This has turned into an aol chat room.
  2. In the least surprising news of all time, Emeka Megwa has entered the transfer portal https://247sports.com/player/emeka-megwa-46056677/
  3. The theme with Akana has been that no one knows anything. If The Athletic is quoting or referencing a source not at either of those schools, that's not great. Would be an otherwise weird thing to hypothesize without info.
  4. Steve Sarkisian, a former BYU QB with significant HC experience and exposure signs his name like a serial killer. This doesn't bode well.
  5. We haven't historically had a relatively legal mechanism to respond. I wouldn't bet against it, personally.
  6. Cooper might personally fund the responding offer.
  7. I don't know about that. The kids all know what's going on and I couldn't give a flying fuck what an aggy fan's perception of Texas recruiting is.
  8. No, that's the football board cycle. All these bleeding jackwagons are just lost. The emotional roller coaster you describe is either a willing choice for those who need to feel something, or the startling result of a lack of experience following recruiting. Or both. Edit to add: There's absolutely no reason to respond to these insane, suicidal takes. Your measured response is neither a value add to the board, nor does it serve the op's desire to feel pain and sadness.
  9. Vasek is clearly abiding by the Westlake mom skincare regimen
  10. This would get us out for free https://twitter.com/jasonscheer/status/1552074645758627841?s=21&t=KU5XGCRva2Ba5vCt1K_W0Q
  11. Sideshow Bert is leading for kicking duties so.........probably not great. Hoping Stone is an accurate Dicker because apparently he has the leg. Pierson should be punting
  12. No one is saying that. It's clear Sark wants influence there as he has had in the past, and as an observer, that initiative isn't going great. I would agree with the thought they play different positions relative to the offense and 2 of 3 could be on the field at the same time. That said, at minimum I would expect other staffs recruiting Shannon to pull on that lever with force, further complicating Sark's Mater Dei ambitions. No judgement on any of the players or the staff, just an observation.
  13. Obviously you take this commitment if you can get it, but Sark has put himself in a weird position with Mater Dei. While he wouldn't likely process Shannon, recruiting over him wouldn't be perceived very well after Kerry last cycle. It looks like they have a couple OL and a DL in the '24 top 150 after their top 50 QB.
  14. Nothing like Parkinson’s to shake the whore talk amirite
  15. @immamac Can we get this character combo auto-edited to "I'm a shitty fucking poster, and" please and thank you
  16. Majors will be your starting Center until unseated by one of the smart guards not named DJ Campbell. Get used to that. Otherwise, I think this is probably right.
  17. I went to the roster site to investigate this point and holy shit Hutson and Robertson are growing mullets Ewers confirmed as the starter.
  18. Gerry posted that Texas cancelled McVay's unofficial visit next weekend. They seem pretty confident in Kirkland. Idk that highest bidder recruitments tend to shake out that way. Maybe someone else jumps in late, but I doubt it. I also don't think it's as much of a momentum play as it is a Florida play with Baxter getting closer and Jerrick Gibson at the top of the '24 RB board. Edit to add: And Jordan Hall and Damon Wilson. Long shots, but Florida
  19. Kirkland will announce at Dezerland, a Main event adjacent concept on I-drive in Orlando. Instructions say "dress to impress" and....er...what does that actually mean when the people you're intending to impress are bowlers?
