  1. I can do it if you need an 8th, but I might be a slow drafter. The problem is that my school's spring break doesn't line up with the tournament this year. Usually I have the whole week off to do this and make a bracket. This year, I'm going to have to actually teach on Monday. Fuck.

  2. We've done this the last couple of years and it's worked out well. It's definitely a fun wrinkle to a NCAA tournament pool. You pick one team each day of the tournament to win straight-up. If they win, you advance. If you lose, you're out. You can only pick a team once so you may not want to use a #1 seed on the first day. The only exception to the "one pick per day" rule is in the Elite 8 round where you will still have to pick two teams, but you can pick both the Saturday games, both the Sunday games, or one of each.

Last year we had 15 participants and I hope we pass that number this year. Feel free to share this with anyone not on the board.

    The pool is at https://www.officefootballpool.com/pools.cfm?poolid=182847&p=2&pwd=p9nrt5.

It's $50 to join, but tournamentpools.com does charge $1/entry, so please send me $51. PM me for paypal or venmo details.

Funding of schools isn’t as simple us us good, them bad. Sic. You know it. I know it.  They know it.

Actually it is. The leadership of one party spent the entire regular legislative session (and a million special sessions) holding public education funding hostage for school vouchers.

  4. Any good places to catch shows with a teenager? It's Spring Break and my fifteen-year old wants to go this year.

  5. There's no shot clock in high school basketball?!? WTF? Are jump shots legal? Do they use nylon nets or peach baskets? I assume that the only type of shorts allowed are nut huggers.

I clearly don't follow HS ball, but Go Stony Point! I started off my teaching career at one of the middle schools that feeds into SPHS.
