  1. For Pete's sake, this board is overrun with illiterate lunkheads. Just comprehending the meaning of the word 'if' is like scaling the Alpe d'Huez for some of you mouth-breathers. I'll spell it out for you. We jettisoned a raft of complete non-contributors. Even IF the incoming transfers don't pan out, we still improved through the portal by moving on from Auburn and Kern. No one is positing that this is the optimal outcome.
  2. For sure, and they won't all bust. But if they did, we'd still be ahead due to the upgrade at kicker and punter.
  3. Even if every incoming position player were to bust, this is still a win based on the upgrade on special teams.
  4. Hottest team in the country, though.
  5. A #2 WR to go with Parker Livingstone?
  6. I don't think these revisionists exist, certainly not I. It's just heightened sensitivity to the topic and lack of nuanced reading comprehension. My only intended comparison between Taaffe and a hypothetical Jaggerson breakout season is that most of this board wrote them both off way too early. No other aspect of comparison intended. I think we all need this to happen. You're not the only one who's here for the entertainment. Your contributions are appreciated, whether they are of the insider info variety or the outlandish, deliberately overstated kind.
  7. How would it not be like Taaffe, who most of this board assumed would never amount to anything and then became an All American, you mouth-breathing dimwit? Just because you don't understand a simple point of comparison doesn't mean that anyone here wants to listen to more of your inane and imbecilic drivel than we've already had the misfortune of being exposed to. Edit: If you're going to insult someone and call them stupid, at least spell and punctuate correctly. Taaffe was spelled correctly in the very post you quoted.
  8. Jaggy Jaggerson opening the season as a starter or even being featured in the offense and contending for all conference honors would be one of the more entertaining things to happen to this board in some time. Some people never learned from the Michael Taaffe Experience.
  9. Agreed. There is something innate about playing the position that you're either born with or you aren't.
  10. Different circumstances than most mentioned in this thread, but I was stoked to get De'Gabriel Floyd. Hard to believe that was only six years ago.
  11. Earning a Super Bowl ring before you turn 18 is damn impressive.
  12. Let's not forget Juwan Mitchell.
  13. The most impressive thing about that draft is that two running backs were drafted with the 13th pick.
