  3. Me likey. Jordan Davison's reaction to the Tony Alford - to - Michigan news. From Bama 247. - The OSU mod says Day is not in a hurry to close on the replacement, and that they could end up going through spring without the position filled. - If that were to happen, they wouldn't have a coach when Davison and some others visit end of March ...
  4. A quick recap of what I've observed on the Keelon Russell situation: - I first heard Tom Loy (247) mention how he thought it was interesting that Texas was maintaining substantial contact with Russell (far more than "staying in touch"); he wondered whether it was as a fallback in case KJ decommitted, or whether we were trying to get him in a 2 QB class - A few weeks later, I saw notes from OTF and IT, and then some other 247 guys, referencing the contact and interest - Here's a note from Hank South ... VERY positive quotes. And an interest reference to ... apples. Newly-minted Top100 QB Keelon Russell talks Texas interest Hank South (247 Sports) - Russell went up from #371 to #63 on 247. - And reminder ... there's a certain WR on his Duncanville team, that we would be willing to accommodate. ************************************************** - I think it's clear that Texas thinks well of this guy, and would certainly be in consideration if Lacey left. - Would they want him as a second QB? Or do they like him enough to risk losing Lacey? (Not saying they want to drop Lacey, but do they think of his as being in that category as a replacement? - Lacey, btw, is saying all the right things, recruiting for us, and visiting Texas. But I believe he is also visiting the other schools involved - Bama, Auburn ...
  5. 🙂 Actually, someone posted it on 247. (Looks like you can actually do a search on Texags ... the search function on 247 is useless. I've wondered whether that was on purpose, to prevent users from pulling up old posts like the one above. Or holding mods accountable for anything they may have said in the past.)

  7. QB depth chart projection of our chief rival ...
  8. Five-star receiver Dakorien Moore narrows focus to four schools The nation's top receiver has narrowed his focus to four schools. He shares the latest on his recruitment as he moves toward spring visits. Mike Roach Texas: "I've been talking to Texas a lot. Coach Sark and coach (Chris) Jackson of course and coach (Chris) Gilbert just got back. Coach Gilbert has a good relationship with my mom. If you have a good relationship with my mom, you have a good relationship with me. I feel like I can trust him." FULL ARTICLE
  9. Gerry had said he thought Fasusi would be a Texas/OU battle. This is from the mod at OU 247 ... good to see.
  10. June 21st. Blair Angulo's article below. Elite linebacker Matai Tagoa'i locks in Texas official visit Blair Angulo (247 Sports)
  11. A quick hit, for those suffering (from) withdrawal symptoms. (So - to keep track - Heisman, high NFL draft pick, or "natty." The modest expectations & tough choices for C-Weig in C-Stat.) But how are things now? At least MarkTAMUx2 has a sense of humor, responding with this pic.
  12. Additional big names visiting: 1) Zion Williams DL 2) Kiotti Armstrong TE/Ath 3) Malik Autry DL 4) Andrew Marsh WR 5) Cobey Sellers CB 6) Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng LB 7) Jonah Williams LB
  13. The weekend of June 21 could be pretty big ... add the #2 receiver in the nation. From NATIONAL reporter .
