  1. (Adding the 247 note here as well ... )
  2. Hopefully, it's time to ... And ... 👀 👀 👀
  3. Some chatter about Michigan and Felix Ojo, so a couple of perspectives. From Streets (Roach) and Steve Lorenz, the Michigan 247 guy. Roach: Steve Lorenz (Michigan 247)
  4. (Note - Ireland, not Fighting Irish 🙂 - and she shoots 40% from 3-point range.) Texas women's basketball signs shooting guard from Ireland Chip Brown (Horns 247)
  5. Kendall Guervil just completed his Georgia OV. Here's an update from Georgia 247 (Benjamin Wolk): FULL ARTICLE 'Georgia's an amazing place': Top interior DL target Kendall Guervil recaps Athens official Benjamin Wolk (Georgia 247)
  6. Was just listening to a portion of the OTF stream - some notes: Ezavier Crowell - Alabama leads, Texas #2; announcing June 26th Malakai Lee - great visit; Texas/Michigan top 2 (didn't say order) Lamar Brown - great visit; Hayward Howard's mom and Brown's mom are good friends; Texas right there in the recruitment, with A&M; announcing July 10th; gave him lots of props, thinks he plays D-line Jamarion Carlton - Texas leads(!) Davon Benjamin - Texas right there, has a legitimate shot; has Ovs to Oregon and Wash Corey Wells - great visit, Texas/Ole Miss decision, Auburn third team, done with visits, could announce soon, Texas MAY lead Mikey Bakauskas - Texas lean until Clemson offered; if he Ovs to Clemson, ends up at Clemson Talked about how, with Berymon in the fold (zero tech), we're right there for Corey Wells, in it for Lamar Brown, so if we get one other soon, then we need to snag a couple out of the national recruitments - Kendal Guervil, Valdon Sone, Vodney Cleveland and others. 5-tech - Brice Perry-Wright, JeyRaylan McCoy (Fl lean) , Fl may try to stop McCoy and Cleveland from visiting. Just the way he was talking about it, semantically, it was sounding similar to the talk last year, re: our recruitments of Charles, Sharma, etc.. Re class ranking, thought floor was 5-6, ceiling was 1-2, provided we got to 24 commitments.
  7. (Looks like this guy led Virginia in ... evvvverything.) Texas baseball transfer target in Austin for a recruiting visit Texas baseball coach Jim Schlossnagle and staff are busy recruiting for next season, including a visit from a transfer target. Chip Brown AUSTIN, Texas — Virginia transfer infielder Eric Becker, who led the Cavaliers in batting average (.368), runs scored (54) and RBI (52) this past season, is wrapping up a visit to Texas, a source told Horns247 on Sunday. Becker, who will be a junior this fall, entered the transfer portal last week with a "do not contact" tag. This past season, Becker batted .368 with nine home runs while also leading Virginia in slugging percentage (.617), doubles (21), total bases (124) and multi-RBI games (13). Becker had a fielding percentage of .920 with 15 errors. FULL ARTICLE
  8. Eval/comments re: Berymon, by 247 Sports analyst Gabe Brooks. Previous eval (also by Brooks, I believe). And then the best ... the quotes. The exclamation marks. The caps. The sentence breaks ... quasi-Haiku meets blank verse? Generations will ponder this.
  9. (The guy who posted this is actually an Aggie staffer (Director of Player Personnel) ... with his stomach and that goat thing, the image reminds me of some of the grosser scenes from Alien. Even for the Aggies, it's pretty bizarre.).
  10. Dylan Berymon to Texas!!! https://247sports.com/player/dylan-berymon-46146243/
  11. ESPN released their FPI ratings; Texas was #1, our Agroid brethren came in at #11. In the "Which team is FPI overvaluing?" section, the first two were A&M and Texas. Here are the write-ups for the two teams ... the tone of the two is - ahem - a little different 😂 😂 😂. TEXAS AGGIES (This could have been written by a Surly-ite ... 🤣.)
  12. Jermaine Bishop (5-star ATH, Texas commit) has cancelled his OVs to other schools; will only OV to Texas. (FULL NOTE WITH A FEW OTHER UPDATES, BELOW.) Scattershooting recruiting notes as Texas preps for the Longhorns' first summer official visit weekend Jordan Scruggs (Horns 247)
  13. Ah, yes. The first 8 topics on Aggie 247 ... guess it's Advantage Aggy, huh? Lulz. The dumb fucks should remember - they began the year ranked #1. - then had the quickest nosedive out of the rankings, of any #1 team IN HISTORY. - did not even make it into the post season. Texas - - began the year unranked. - rose to #1. - won the Regular Season SEC championship. In our very first year in the SEC. - made it into the post season. - can look forward to progressing back to the top, led by a coach who sneered contemptuously at their crappy school before moving to Austin, the first chance he got.
  14. Link for the game.
  15. Tarp loves his Aggies. When they inevitably crater, he does a couple of things - - he seems to derive some perverse satisfaction from describing A&M's ineptitude in all its gory detail. Essentially delight in twisting the knife. - he goes into this mode of ascribing the failures to his subscribers. "You did xyz ..." "you gave Jimbo his contract ..." and so on. Pretty hilarious for us ... ahem, neutral 🙂 observers. A couple of instances: (think he means first to worst re: Michael Earley ... ) (Btw, the guy who referred to Sark as (a) "former drug addict", admitted in a subsequent post that that was a cheap shot, and called his "own foul". So there was that.) And ... Ouch ...
