  1. FYI ... FCB:
  2. From the Elk's press conference ... 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀
  3. Posted updates in the Sark Conference thread on the football board, but wanted to share the Quinn stuff here as well ... fuck OU!!!
  4. I hope Livingstone has a fantastic career as a Horn - I'm sure we all do. His profile lists a 100m time of ... 11.7. (As a soph - no idea whether that was an official time, wind aided, or what.) Given Wingo's 10.55, he would be pretty far behind 🙂 Even assuming improvement over time, official times of sub-10 seem VERY unlikely. For reference, TJ Moore and Perry Thompson are 2024 WRs listed at 6'3". They have times of 11.113/11.5 (Moore) and 11.1 (Thompson). Moore is a 5 star, and Thompson, just outside 5-star territory. Guys like Roy Williams had mid 10s, but ... yeah, different level of prospect. If Livingstone uses his size/body control / hands to serve as a reliable red zone target and possession receiver, that would be an asset and a great start. Any speed/quicks to create some separation, would be a bonus. (As would his mellifluous voice and wizardry with a guitar ... allegedly.)
  5. Jamarion Carlton's visit update. Sounds like a monster recruit, and a priority for the staff. Would rock if we locked him up early. Temple 2026 five-star EDGE Jamarion Carlton recaps fourth Texas visit of the year for Miss. St. game Jordan Scruggs (247 Sports)
  6. Couple of prospect visit-related notes. 1) NELSON MCGUIRE (IOL) This guy visited Auburn last weekend, Texas this weekend, and will be at A&M next weekend. Also scheduled to visit Clemson (in Oct). His bio below - started off on defense, played some tackle, throws shot put. 2) DAYLAN MCCUTCHEON (FROM FSU 247) Some reactions from the FSU board - spoilered below.
  7. I've used the first two options while traveling outside the US (you'll likely need to close a bunch of popups before the game starts playing): https://the.streameast.app/cfb-live-streams https://nflbox.me/college-football-streams Never used the one below ... https://therealstreamhub.site/showthread.php?tid=1294
  8. I know, OU Sucks! ... but wouldn't wish injuries on them, and this is pretty bad. Their top 5 WRs - Anderson/Farooq/Anthony/Gibson/Burks - were listed as Out on today's report. If truly out, wow ... **************************************************************************************************************** NORMAN – The second availability report for Oklahoma's first road trip of the 2024 season at Auburn has been officially released by the SEC on Thursday evening. On Wednesday, seven Sooners were ruled out of the contest against the Tigers - with three more joining that group in the Thursday update in wide receivers Deion Burks and Andrel Anthony along with running back Taylor Tatum. Anthony and Tatum don't come as much of a surprise after their "doubtful" designation on Wednesday, but the loss of Burks is an inarguable big blow after his "questionable" listing initially. Without Burks, the Sooners will now be operating without their top five wideouts going into the preseason in Burks, Anthony, Nic Anderson, Jalil Farooq and Jayden Gibson. An additional update will be provided on Friday evening at around 7 p.m. CT. A final pregame report will be published no later than 90 minutes before kickoff Saturday, which means final status designations for those players should be made public by 1 p.m. CT. According to the SEC's student-athlete availability reporting policy, "probable" means a player has a 75% or greater expectancy of playing; "questionable" means a player is uncertain or has a 50% chance of playing; "doubtful" means a player is unlikely to play or has a 25% chance of being available; while "out" means the player will not play that week due to either injury, illness, suspension, ineligibility or personal matter. Availability reports do not include information on injuries or other additional context surrounding a player's status. Teams are permitted to provide additional information at their own discretion via press release, social media post or coach's comment, so long as the information is consistent with the player's status on the availability report. Below is the full availability report for Oklahoma and for Auburn: Oklahoma availability report Player Position Status Jayden Gibson WR Out Jalil Farooq WR Out Nic Anderson WR Out Gentry Williams DB Out Kendel Dolby DB Out Geirean Hatchett OL Out Tyler Keltner K Out Andrel Anthony WR Out Taylor Tatum RB Out Dasan McCullough LB Questionable Deion Burks WR Out Jake Taylor OL Probable Auburn availability report Player Position Status Tyler Scott DB Out Champ Anthony DB Out Brandon Frazier TE Out Isaiah Raikes DL Probable Alex McPherson K Probable Izavion Miller OL Probable
  9. Lulz ... our media people are going nuts :-))
  10. The good news for Bear is that he has this guy in his corner (Tony Jones - his handler, supposedly).
  11. Sam Cosmi Caden Stearns Kelvin Banks Cam Williams Anthony Hill Devin Duvernay PJ Locke ...
  12. So, Daylan McCutcheon visited Aggieland, for their big win over - ahem! - Bowling Green. I'll just put these here, since we're recruiting him, too. ************************************************************************* Just the quotes you want, from a WR that you're recruiting. (This one really cracked me up ... lulz. ) Wait! Changing? Leaving their great past behind? Moving forward in ... "a great way" ... whatever does he mean? :-))
  13. - Jamarion Carlton (5-star Edge, Temple) has been to Texas 3 times already (Junior Day, Elite Camp, Pool Party) - only visits currently scheduled are to Texas; Mississippi State game and the Georgia game - his primary recruiter is Kwiatkowski (who is in charge of the Edge room) - several nice quotes Temple 2026 five-star EDGE Jamarion Carlton has two Texas visits set, staying consistent with the Longhorns Jordan Scruggs (Horns 247)
  14. Lulz ... just watch Barron. Not being able to hear them makes it even more funny.
  15. Maybe he will conclude that the grass is greener somewhere else?
  16. (Daylan McCutcheon visiting for the Miss. State game, Kelshaun Johnson visiting for the Georgia game.) Texas set to host ACC commit for SEC opener Hank South (247 Sports)
  17. Texas hosting DL Malcolm Simpson (On3/247/composite 4 star), currently committed to Nebraska, on a visit today. Nahlin lists him @ 270. Texas hosting 4-star D-lineman committed to Big Ten school Eric Nahlin Hitchcock defensive lineman, Malcolm Simpson, is on campus in Austin today after his team defeated Bellville on Thursday night. Simpson hasn’t been a household name for Texas fans but that has nothing to do with his ability. The 6-foot-3, 270-pounder is viewed as an elite athlete for his position. The former Galveston Ball product has been committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers since June 16th. He did notify the ‘Huskers staff of his intent to visit Texas today. Those following Texas recruiting understand how great the need is for defensive tackles in the 2025 class. Defensive tackles coach, Kenny Baker, has two very good commitments so far but he needs at least two more in the class. Texas will suffer significant losses at the position after this season, most notably Alfred Collins and Vernon Broughton. How could Simpson potentially fit? Well, first, he needs an offer from Texas. The staff has been doing its homework on Simpson of late and is liking what it’s learning. At this point, I’d expect an offer to come his way. Back to the original question. Simpson is a well-built, muscled up athlete but his long-term projection is a bit of a question. I liken him to Jaray Bledsoe coming out of school. He’s an elite athlete who could potentially play Jack (outside linebacker, defensive end) early in his career before growing into a hyper-athletic interior defensive lineman. If you’ve been reading Inside Texas of late, you know Texas has put itself in very good position to close with a massive flourish to the Class of 2025. Will Simpson ultimately be a part of it? Time will tell. On3 is the only network that has Simpson ranked in the Top 300 but I assure that has nothing to do with his upside as a player. On3 ranks him the No. 180 player and No. 17 defensive lineman in the country.
