  1. She's walking away with a shitload of cash and will never need a full time job again. But her ego will want to stay on camera full time. Unfortunately she's toxic. FOX won't take her back. Not sure if ABC or CBS would hire her, either. I don't think she would consider Sinclair after their plans fell through and the other small right wing networks couldn't afford her.

That leaves CNN and they might actually think about it. Give her back a primetime slot and let her duke it out with Cooper, Cuomo and Lemon. It would do a lot to attract viewers and shed the stigma CNN has with "conservatives". She could be their Shep Smith and it would work.

If you still have Facebook (been off of that shit since 2011), you’re a dumb mother fucker.

There’s a million different ways to stay connected to people you care about. The “but I wanna see photos of my family and their children” excuse isn’t good enough. Find other ways to receive and send those pics.

The Facebook platform started destroying families and relationships, then it allowed foreign influence/interference to fuck with our politics, and they knew about it.

    Fuck them.

I still have Facebook for 1 reason. My 90yo aunt in Bakersfield thinks it cool to chat with family that way. I check in every couple of weeks to chat then bail.

The rest of FB is a cesspool. When she dies so does my account.

  3. Annnd here we go...

    Flipping votes

Evelyn Brown, a 63-year-old longtime Fort Worth voter, said she had a problem voting this week.

She had gone to the Southwest Community Center on Welch Avenue and had cast a straight party ticket.

When she reviewed the summary, she saw that her choice in the U.S. Senate race — which pits Republican U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz against Democratic challenger U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke — had flipped to the candidate in the other party.

She spent seven or eight minutes trying to move back to change the candidate in that race, but wasn’t successful.

“I’m accustomed to using the booth,” she said. “I used the keys that let you move forward and back. It didn’t move at all. It was stuck.”

So she called the election judge over who ended up calling the Tarrant County Elections Office.

In the end, the election judge had to at least temporarily put that machine out of service. He moved Brown to a different machine, where she said she was able to cast a vote for all the candidates of her choice.

  4. Nancy needs to step aside and let some new blood take charge. She's already accomplished just about everything she can in the House and has a place in history as the first female Speaker. Also, she has a terrible stigma attached to her. She's a lightning rod for conservatives since Hillary is out of the picture and that's not what Dems or our country needs right now.

Repubs will just choose whomever the Freedom Caucus dictates.

I tell you why I prefer Republicans. You tell me I’m wrong.  I say you’re wrong. Sorry. General broad questions like that are boring in this forum imo.

Ive explained on here before why I’ll vote for Cruz. That should suffice.

That wasn't the question she asked.

  6. A: Centurylink SUCKS. They service mostly remote areas and have shitty infrastructure. Their customer service is run by Peggy in Manila.

B: Why in the fuck are you renting a modem? You can buy one for less than $50. Clink charges at least $5 a month for theirs.

C: When they do send a tech, I refuse to let them inside the house, thus eliminating the "it's your wiring" excuse and subsequent charges. You get a signal to my box outside and I can handle it from there.

    Bang-up job on that bailout.

Grassley has not yet talked to the White House about changing the rules to exclude Smithfield from the bailout, but he is considering doing so

He seems super serious about considering to say something.

    But back to the question.

How are Republicans good for the country?

The true unrest started when the children lost the election. The temper tantrum hasn’t stopped yet.

Oh, sorry. I thought you were talking about FOX News circa 2008.

When they heard a knee grow won, the wave of shit set high water marks.

If you think Dems are bad for the country isn’t voting against them good for the country?  What’s hard about this?

If you think Ted Cruz is good for Texas, you're ignoring his record of achievement.

  11. I honestly haven't heard anyone say they like Ted Cruz. I have heard a lot of people say they wouldn't vote for a Democrat. You could swap a shit sandwich for Cruz and get the same poll numbers. It's herd mentality. Party over country.
