  1. Dipped in high school, started smoking in college.  Marlboro smooth's.  Quit smoking when I started working out at age 30.  Haven't had a smoke in...5 years now?  I'm trying to quit the snuff though and I've cut down to half of what I was doing a month ago.  It's just too expensive now.

Durkin is a hell of a recruiter. He is a pro's pro. He is another guy who is loved in the building. He is doing a great job on the recruiting trail. Guys like that stand out. Between that and making a quick hire, you have the potential to retain a lot of this. You will lose some. There are no two ways around this. You will lose guys you want to keep, and they will make a big deal of it on social media. If you hire the right coach and they sell it right, you can have a contending team on day one at Texas A&M.

    There's the good stuff...

Had they done this last year, they might have gotten Matt Rhule, which would have been a really good hire for them.

I was thinking about Matt Rhule earlier.  Dude can coach and knows offensive line which is their biggest weakness (well, one of them at least).

They had an extremely makable FG to send the game to OT w/ Ole Miss and that was without their best playmaker (is he finally transferring out), while pushing on the number some places and covering it in others.
there was a lot of declaration that they were going to get blown the fuck out and that didn’t happen.
I’m praying for 6-6, expecting 7-5 and would be pissed if it’s 8-4.
we need one more off-season of the portal gutting them for me to feel good about their talent level being shit- which is where I want it to be.
6-6, pass the hat, watch all the mercs transfer out and decommit is the glorious scenario.  That’s a pretty weak victory lap though.

I have serious doubts about Evan Stewart actually transferring out. I’d love to be wrong though.

I am worried Sanders won't play.

If he doesn't, we should go to 4 (& some 5) WR sets with Cook & Neyor. I don't think we will.

I am worried Sark does too many predictable runs up the gut and too many passes to stationary receivers behind the LOS. I am worried our attempts to go deep will miss. I am worried our red zone problems scoring TDs and Field Goal problems continue.

Will our D continue to play with intensity if our O struggles? I don't know.

I think we are set up for a stumble.

    Well, how'd it go?

Thanks for asking. It went really well. I finished 12th out of 18 in my division at around 1:34:00. Definitely not lighting the world on fire but I learned a ton about transition areas and what NOT to do. Swim and bike were both pretty average but I was 5th in my division in just the run alone. The winner of the whole thing was in my division and he completed it in 1:03:00. Definitely a lot I can improve on and glad I did this before Austin next year.
