  1. I don’t know how it will all shake out, but I do love that A&M’s two biggest selling points, winning big this year and playing in the SEC, didn’t make it past September. That’s just undeniably hilarious.
  2. I’m excited for the game this weekend. Is A&M on the cusp of 0-3 in conference play?
  3. I'm sick of everyone making excuses for A&M's players. They need to execute Jimbo's plan.
  4. Well at least everything is out in the open with NIL so we can just copy what works. We seem like good copiers.
  5. Given what we know about Rich Paul and Klutch, isn't this just a way to get players committed to their agency sooner? I wonder which other agencies are working to get similar deals... we should jump on that.
  6. Right? Let's pressure the 5-star that everyone in the country wants! He's got all the leverage but it just might work.
  7. Yep. But for our purposes, we don’t want the cards/NFTs, we just want Bijan to have $10,000 so he’ll tell Denver Harris
  8. This sums it up for me. Jump into this marketplace to give the thing value that I would like it to have. Can you tell your friends and relatives about it, too?
  9. I mean we can twist it any way we want. Who is next up to take snaps if McCord falters? Ewers? Does Ewers want that or not want that? What was he told during his recruitment? If McCord is great, will Quinn get a shot to win the job next year?
  10. Oh, by free agency, I meant freedom of movement, not a bidding market. But I guess that will play a big role.
  11. These people use "trending" and "surging" in their reporting and we run with it. At least "silent commit" references an actual event that might have happened.
  12. I like this plan for the OL more than other positions. Do we think kids may be more open to "free agency" this year since they've had a year to process the new transfer rules? I hope so. The "our players suck" pitch should actually work better on transfers than recruits.
  13. Elite DL recruiting is always tricky. Everybody wants them and there aren't very many. Gotta fight the battle from all sides.
  14. No one is saying "sign 3-stars," but signing a shit load of 4-stars is fine if you have a good coaching staff. Gotta give the 5-stars proof of concept.
  15. The truth is somewhere in the middle. I wish we were recruiting like Georgia and OSU, but a Penn State or Notre Dame class isn't the end of the world. It just puts a lot more pressure on our evaluations and development which is very TBD.
  16. I agree with his assessment of said twitter person, but yes, I was referring to the Georgia MOD source. But honestly, there are positives for every school he's looking at, but the family has a history of going with a QB guru and it's worked out well for them.
