He said the Texas staff misleads recruits and their entire pitch is misinformation.
He also compared Cupp to a combination of Gronk and Kelce. Yes. Really.
I feel like if you ran TexAgs or Orangebloods for a living, you could never fully grow up. Like it doesn't matter how much money you make, your adult development stalls when you tie your livelihood to the tribalism of college football fans and the whims of 17 year old kids.

He then went on an amazing anti-Texas diatribe. He likened the Texas staff's recruiting efforts to Russian Election Meddling. Called out Carrington by name. Called Herman a con artist that fooled the Texas media and fanbase.
What was this in regards to? Just misleading recruits? I know it's all bullshit, I'm just curious.

Looch, TexAgs and Ben Baby of the DMN are predicting 9 wins for Aggy. This is the party line. My goodness, Jimbo is telling Aggys they'll win 9 games.
This is going to be fun to watch.
As we know, if it's 9 now, it'll be 10 by August.

After last year, I just can't worry about this staff. They're persistent, I like their evals, and they showed an ability to assess the class's weakness on the fly. If we sign 25 guys, there is no way it's not a top 5-10 class.

Without Dez they are almost locked in to drafting a WR in round 1. That's bad because now team's know they have to trade above Dallas to get Ridley or DJ Moore, and they'll probably miss out and have to reach like they usually do. Good possibility of a trade down to take a next-option guy, or have to trade up and burn some good picks, and end up with a domino effect shitty draft. We've seen that show before.
Either you're full of shit or you should start picking stocks.

The information ministry is reporting they expect Wease and Henderson to commit to OU this weekend on the OV's, but still expects aggy to get a visit later on.
Welp. Time to keep recruiting baller DBs.

Given what we've rolled out at QB the last few years, I'd take a chance on Burrows. He still has 2 years of eligibility and Herman recruited him to Ohio State. Should be a solid fit for the offense.
I'm for any strategy that prevents a freshman QB from taking crucial snaps. We need to break the cycle.

You seem to leave out the part where Dez can’t get separation and when he does he just drops the ball more than any other WR in the leagueI'll always like Dez, but last year was rough. I bet signing another vet and drafting WR in rounds 1 or 2 will allow them to replace his production. Sometimes players production just falls off a cliff.

I don't care if he was a Sooner or Aggy, his talent would be great for this defense. We are desperate for safety play.
I believe it's called "a cherry on top."

Blowing a 2nd round pick for 1 extra year of a safety is the type of move you make if you are going ALL IN like the Rams or Eagles. I'm fan with that, if that's the play. But don't tell me that Dallas should cut Dez, which would ensure the offense is not good enough to win the title for the next couple of seasons, then tell me we should burn a 2nd rounder for one extra year of a safety.
You haven't been reading this thread. The Cowboys have drafted terribly for 20 years. This move insures they protect themselves from themselves.

Read an article on CBS Sports and this mock draft day trades said we could get Earl Thomas for our 2nd and 4th round picks. And the market is not what Seattle thought it would be. I would do this hypothetical trade. Safety is a huge need. You aren't finding an Earl Thomas talent with either of those picks. And we have another 4th rd pick as well. He comes in and solidifies the back end of this defense right away.
I covet draft picks, but how could a Longhorn not want Earl back there teaching the young secondary. Darren Woodson Effect 2.0, IMO

You guys seem pretty down on the 'Boys. Zeke's back. They'll be good.

If you liked Season 1, I think you're going to love this season. At least I hope so because it was a lot of fucking work.

The Aggies might finish with one of their best classes of all time, and they are going to be pissed off because it isn't in the top 5 and we beat them. They do this to themselves.

Most mocks have him at the very bottom of the first or second round. I think he could have been a top 10 pick with a good senior year of film but it's hard to pass up 1st round money. I would have done the same thing if I was Connor. But I really wish Malik would have stayed for one more year. I've seen very few drafts with Malik in the 1st round or 2nd round. Most project him in the 3rd round.
When I hear of him slipping to the second round, I feel like it's because we're in misinformation season. Getting an athletic OL that could excel at guard and possibly play tackle for you seems like great value in the middle of the first round.

I’m going to be impressed if that O-Line doesn’t get Starkel hurt again.
Koda Martin back to starting LT? Yeah......
Going to be fun when Jimbo gets the Mond transfer, Starkel injured, start a true freshman for his transition year.
Sumlin was sent a gift from the Gods in his first year, and they still managed to piss it away in short order.

I bet Watson likes our RB depth chart.
I'd love to have a 22 year old Cal graduate in the backfield to keep the offense stay on track.
