USC often acts late, because they can. Remember that.
This is true. But I am interested in their season because Helton just doesn't seem to get their fanbase excited. I wonder how quickly they could sour on him.

Harden doesn't have the heart of a champion and Chris Paul doesn't want it bad enough. Warriors in 6.

I"ve only seen the parts of their spring game posted on here, but so far that defense looks like hot garbage, and I can't imagine their run defense is anything special, either.
I'm sure they'll be great because Jimbo got his #1 choice for DC.

OU has always drawn from the part of California - like the Fresno area, referred to as "Fresneck" or guys with character issues. Parts of California no one wants to live.
You'll be competing directly with us...smart kids that want a good education and a class program. Okies lose on both.
I'm thinking of SoCal kids. I was mentioning it because someone posted a link for Stephon Wright, and he has USC and OU as likely destinations.

I bet OU is going to get annoyed once they convince kids to leave Cali, but then they end up picking UT because Austin feels like less of a culture shock.

And the draft the very next year had to be about an F.
And then the year after that was an A+

That slow pace will depress their own scoring as well.
For real. It only works when your offense is extremely efficient. Otherwise, you're just losing in lower scoring games.

It's gonna be pretty sweet when Trey Sanders commits on some boring Tuesday night this summer.

At least for some of them they are covered just for the show. Jeff Russo and Noah Hawley did the cream cover in episode 4 and the petty cover in episode 5.
Those two do a lot of covers for the show. I think they did White Rabbit at the end of 201.
Did you like the Petty cover? I thought it worked really well in the transformation sequence.

Any rationalization about not getting the top DL talent on the table in Texas, and to some extent, regionally, is going to fall flat when Texas finds itself up against programs that are recruiting better and developing just as well. 4-5 star recruits developed well, on average, win more match-ups than not against lower ranked guys, also developed well. Bama, Clemson, Ohio State - these are programs doing well are cleaning up in recruiting and developing their OL and DL talent very well.
I think people just get tired of complaining about our hypothetical future playoff losses to Ohio State, Clemson, and Bama 7 months before any DL can actually sign LOIs. It's not wrong, it's just premature.

Is he going to grow up to be a faggot like his father?
So you're the guy that wanders into a party and totally misreads the room.

Y'all don't do QBs.
Why the hell would you be interested in Kliff?
Kliff is one of the brightest offensive minds in college football.

It's good to know, because we so often discuss recruits' middle names in these threads.
We should start this. Always use THE FULL NAME.

C'mon man. His name's Brayden.
I always mix up my Braylens and my Braydens... when I'm filling out my youth lacrosse lineup card.

Cade, Reese, and Braylen... All we need is a Tanner or a Jayden to round out the group.

I’ll take the under on Tech.
Since the schedule came out, I said it would hard for Kliffy to win more than 4.
If he has a .500 season, I’d consider it a pretty good effort, but not necessarily a job saver for him.
What do you think his price will be when Herman hires him as OC in 2019?

Orlando's a really good coach, but expecting the defense to improve with that many personnel losses is pretty outlandish.
Couldn't the defense regress statistically and still give up fewer points? Orlando keeps the floor from giving out. Now we need just need the offense to help a little bit.

it's almost like every person that is part of a different school is terrible and my coaches and players are all awesome?
Pointing out the absurdity of college football tribalism on Surly undermines the entire fucking operation. Go to TexAgs to preach levelheadedness.

Under 7 was at -125 so many are going under.
I would take the over unless you're an idiot.

I'm trying to think if I'll be happy with 8 regular season wins... Maybe if they're all in conference.

Visited Villanova and Kansas last week. Going to visit Gonzaga at some point. Highly doubtful he comes to Texas with all the other schools involved now.
Well, we can promise him more shots.

Speaking of Kyle Allen, he skipped his last year of eligibility and signed with Carolina... again likely backing up Cam Newton at least for first few years. Going from a high school record breaker, he basically ended up spending more time bouncing around and sitting on the bench than playing.

Just a reminder how stupid decisions when we're 18 can haunt us long into adulthood.
