Via LHF: Hamm just said Texas mods are blowing smoke about Shepherd. Said UT mods only get what info Carrington feeds them.
He said his sources have told him Shepherd has already told aggy coaches he would be committing to the a&m https://t.co/6oM3agJZEuAfter last year, I feel like Carrington is a pretty good source of information.

Not really. Go fuck yourself for being a perpetual cunty wet blanket here.
Can someone help me? The font on this is too small for me to read. How do I make it bigger?

1) I love the idea of a college athlete giving up a million dollars to play football for free.
2) Perhaps we're missing the most Kyler Murray move of all Kyler Murray moves. He wins the starting QB job at OU, plays the first 4 games, and then quits mid-season after sustaining a minor injury leaving his team in the lurch.

Rolled my eyes as I read it. Horns247 posters won't care, that forum is chock full of sunshine-pumpers who won't brook any criticism of Giles' recruiting.
Am I wrong in thinking Giles is the ace recruiter on the staff?

Is the OU QB stuff a negotiation ploy? I'm not familiar with MLB drafting. Is the money you can offer someone pretty set in stone by slot?

The plot thickens...

I know they’re bff’s who’ve openly always wanted to play together, but I don’t see either or if them having a lot of leverage over the Rockets due to a lack of other viable options. If either of them wants to win a title between now and the end of his career then their options are limited. At the end of the day if CP3 holding out for more money means he can’t play with LeBron then that would just confirm his status as a great player who is a total twat.
CP3 made concessions last year to help Morey pull off an impossible trade. They aren't going to fuck him over this offseason.

Lebron's not going to Houston unless CP3 is there.... They're best friends, that's the allure....
This. Lebron could end up in Houston. CP3 will be in Houston either way.

If losing Chris Paul makes it financially easier to nab LeBron then I don’t even give a shit about losing CP3 if I’m Houston. LeBron can come in and start at PG for me anyway. Bron, Harden, Capela, and some role players? Yes please.
I think people believe that in order to get CP3 to opt in last year, the Rockets may have already made a "handshake" commitment to him.

I don't think they wanted that. They wanted him to go so they could build a team from the ground up for Lebron to come back to. That was their plan all along,
I think we live in different realities. I'm done. Have a great weekend.

The Cavs also got 3 first lottery picks when after "the decision" despite the odds being 20%, 15%, and 1.7% lol. There is a 0.05% chance of that happening for real so who knows, a superstar leaves you could be impossibly lucky enough to win the lottery until you can build a good team for him to come back to.
You know what would have been better for the Cavs? Getting fair value for one of the greatest players of all-time in his prime.

Saban is blocking a grad transfer right now. The article being linked doesn't change this. You guys are idiots and should feel bad.
Guys, quit fighting. I hate when y'all fight. @Fud is right, but it is a slightly misleading tweet. As I understand it, the SEC added an addition year to intra-conference transfers, and that is what is going away, right?

You know what? He's convinced me. The fix is in. The results of this series are null and void. Congratulations NBA Champion Houston Rockets!

His report was they had interest in Bamba but he has no idea what they would offer.
Yeah, but the top of this draft is solid, so it's definitely going to cost them to move up. Celtics are a weird case because they are both "win-now" and "win in 5 years." Maybe they covet one of the top three centers in this draft, and see them as a cornerstone going forward. They do have Hayward, Tatum, and future picks, so they can always address wing depth going forward if they were to trade Brown.

boston is not trading tatum. get that out of your head.
It's all crazy talk. I was surprised they even floated the idea of trading Jaylen Brown. I'd do THAT in a heartbeat because he's a 21 year old wing with a ton of potential. Rozier? No thanks.

Next thing you know, he's going to start posting screen grabs of players inbounding the ball after a made basket. Look at his toe, it's on the line!

It doesn't matter how you acquire a super team,
Yes it does. It screws with the competitive balance when you receive no assets for your superstar when they leave. If you don't see how The Decision changed team building, then I don't know what to tell you. The players realized the control they had by leaving money on the table and manipulating the system.

Who said anything about teaching a lesson? The goal is to win championships through whatever means necessary.
It's not "beating them at their own game." It's just another round of Lebron's game.
-

Yup. Time to beat Kevin Durant and the Warriors at their own game by stacking the deck in his favor. It ain't happening anywhere but Houston or Boston.
Let me get this straight. You think Lebron James is the right person to teach people a lesson about creating super teams and stacking the deck. THE SUPER TEAM ERA OF THE NBA IS HIS CREATION. THIS IS ALL HIS FAULT.

It's all a negotiation people.
I get that, but I'm only interested in what Boston would reasonably give up. The only reason I could see them giving up a young player like Brown is because they have Hayward and Tatum.
