Nick Harvey (former A&M cornerback) transferred to South Carolina.
Seems like Will is doing better his second time around. Am I imagining things?

Now maybe Norm will shut the fuck up about the Eagles "jumping in front of" the Cowboys to land TE Dallas Goedert. We wanted Williams all along. I'm glad the front office didn't let the Witten news skew what they were trying to accomplish in the draft.
For real. He's fixating on that theory. The best part is, the Eagles jumped ahead of the Cowboys and then left them a higher graded player.

he wasn’t fully healthy until late in the year. his rookie year he had 30 tackles as a part-time starter at DT.
Keep fighting. Never give up. Don't let stupid and uninformed go unchallenged.

Man, Barton Simmons saying Roschon looks like Buechele seems like a deflection from scrutiny.

so Mehringer and/or Warehime are let go in Dec/Jan and we put Carrington back out on the recruiting trail. At least we have that to look forward to.

Someone tell Tyler Johnson to commit this weekend.

So the major bust they traded a 4th round guy for is essentially worth the same as a guy off the street. They panicked and made a poor decision. Sounds familiar.
You're nothing if not consistent.

Absolutely. The idea that Dallas drafts have been very good is misguided. If the last 4-5 years of drafts have been very good, why does this team have no depth?
They've been alright. '16 was great. '15 not so much.

if the experts rank a kid higher it means he’s a better player. sub-500 players are made for winning the MAC. we’re not competing to win the MAC.
I can always tell when you're bored.

^ pretty much confirms that Jimbo and staff had decided this was going to be their last season at FSU and were in the "kiss my ass" mode.
certainly interesting reading, and the psyche of the over-the-top fans (of any of the big brand schools) is kinda funny to see through those posts... everyone gets defensive about "their" team and "their" players... sometimes, to the point of being blind even after its clear to the rest of the world that they weren't all going to make it to the NFL.
Haha. You're crazy. He was RUNNING THE PROGRAM FOR 8 YEARS. It's called throwing in the towel when you're overwhelmed, losing control, and can't tread water anymore.

the rams, raiders, and cowboys can’t make any of those conclusions for at least another year or two.
Just let him go. He's got it all figured out.

Lake Travis coaches should just kiss the ring and be thankful that the beautiful city of Austin is providing them with so many talented prospects.

Skins beef up their interior by getting Payne and Settle. And we continue to just get backup players and have them start on ours. But hey, at least we got another TE that is a Swaim clone and tons more WRs. This draft should have been majority defense. Not all these WRs and a fucking QB. Go sign a vet to be the backup. This front office will never learn and will keep going in circles with this approach. Skimp out on the defense and you will continue to get gashed by good teams. See both Packers playoff losses.
If we just followed the (cherry pick a random team) draft plan, we'd have so much more success. I wish we won more just like the Redskins.

Okay, I can see how that can come across like it. I meant to simply juxtapose two recruiting styles since Jimbo's not being on social media came up for discussion just this week.
Look at it this way: Carrington (sp?) has been just as successful with his swagger sushhh approach. And if anything, his online antics have gotten under the skin of some opposing teams' fans.
The outcome justifies the process. To pretend otherwise is just needing to having an opinion.

A team that drafts for back-ups fails. This has been a frustrating draft watching the Cowboys get a thousand WR’s, a QB they didn’t need and a backup RB. You find backups in the open market and on practice squads, not in the draft.
Either every team drafts 7 starters a year, or you're just repeating something you thought sounded insightful after the Cowboys 2009 draft.

Get Earl.
Get WR.
Celebrate.

I’m going to hate seeing Barkley go to the giants. Guy is a stud and will be giving the cowboys headaches for years to come
I'd rather see them hit on RB than QB.

I miss the Saturday and Sunday only drafts.
This slow roll Thursday and Friday shit for a few extra bucks is weak.
I love it. That shit got old after 10 hours.

The Browns with a baseball geek as their GM were full on tard. Now they have Dorsey who knows what he's doing and they also have the drunken genius Scot McCloughan who built the SB niners and SB champ Seahawks. I think Browns ace this draft
I didn't realize McCloughan was working for the Browns. They'll probably have 2-3 good drafts before he burns bridges and gets fired.

Not sure how true this is:
4/26: The Cowboys and Seahawks are discussing a trade for Earl Thomas, centered around the No. 50 pick. - Dan Graziano, ESPNReports indicate that the only thing holding this trade up is Dallas needing assurance that it can sign Thomas to a long-term deal. Considering Thomas begged the Dallas coaching staff to acquire him after the penultimate game of the year, the Cowboys should feel pretty confident they can get a contract done. -Walter
