  1. Might be worth it to give Texas Iron Spikes a drop in. They are a student org on campus that host tailgates for football and baseball. They are technically a service group. They have an officer position for tailgates and sponsors already so they understand how the logistics of picking up supply/ assembling shit should work for these tailgates. There’s probably some guy who did it before or someone who wants to prove themselves next time they vote on officers.

If you don't know that Trump being the opponent changes all the rules, you don't know much.

2020 was a very narrow margin and Biden had an advantage (a global pandemic that Trump mismanaged). Biden won't have that luxury in 2024.

Oh don’t try to fucking tell me what I do and don’t know. I’ve pointed out his 40k margin plenty of times. I’ve seen the bedwetting all across the board for long enough between “he’s too old” “we should run someone new and abandon incumbency” to whatever shit for brain concerns are going on now. I’ve seen people without an ounce of irony think the Valley represents the entire  Hispanic vote in this state. It’s goddamn February and the asshole who made this thread that’s going to stay on the page for an entire year is the true enemy.

  3. Friday night notes

Loving County is getting an early start on their voting fraud. With 129 voters registered there, 0 have participated in Dem primary and 26 have voted in Republican primary.  NBC News and even the NYTimes have had some good stories the last two years. Don't yell at me if you don't know how to get past a paywall.

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/08/02/us/loving-county-texas.html - Had to include this cause of the Big Trouble in Little China headline

Every county that touches the Mexico border had the participation below.Went from south to west in order. I did not count horseshoe counties that are close to touching.

Unfortunately Biden has to walk a tight rope when taking a victory lap about the economy since many are not participating the great economy.

No he doesn’t. And he shouldn’t.

If you think Republicans would sideline themselves from bragging on this economy because some lube techs who will vote for them anyway can’t afford a vacation, ever, they wouldn’t.

Real life is not Reddit where bike messengers with computer science PhDs complain about not having starter homes in walkable neighborhoods in Santa Monica after demanding loan forgiveness

  7. Positive news that could put a big crack in the remaining resistance to Medicaid expansion. Mississippi leaders look to take it head on over Tate Reeves verbal farts

Kansas ignored the Governor again last month.

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey would feel a ton of pressure from this, I believe she is term limited.

Georgia is twiddling thumbs on a work requirement.

How Biden has led the country and the free world is all the more impressive when one considers he is governing during one of the most difficult times in recent history. He took over on the heels of a concluding pandemic

Gotta stop you here, you aren’t serious with this are you? Vaccinations only started December 2020

  9. South Dakota residency and being able to vote there is EXTREMELY easy to obtain. A lot of Americans abroad keep a PO Box in South Dakota and aforementioned nomads/RV’ers do the same.

Hot take: MT will slowly trend blue and then forcefully flip and never look back ala Colorado.

Not a hot take and Ryan Zinke could easily lose his House Seat this year
