  1. Meh. You're overstating it. Here's the docket setting: It's the third pre-trial conference setting, which means that it's another opportunity for the attorney to discuss the matter with the prosecutor. They are often serially reset when the defendant is going through pretrial programs/counseling/etc., which are then factors in what kind of a plea deal the prosecutors will give. They're also reset sometimes while discovery is exchanged with the defendant's attorney. Also, this is the definition of a "fluid" court date. It's not a trial, and no trial has been set.
  2. Gotta think that if he's got a "firm court date" (although I frankly don't know what you mean by that), he already has a plea deal hammered out, which means the staff would have pretty good insight into his ability to get back into the program. Can't imagine he'd be allowed to practice if he were going to actually take his issue to trial.

  6. This gif is just another reminder that David Tennant is the absolute motherfucking GOAT Gallifreyan.
  7. Now my brain is caught in a wormhole of visualizing 4D Guess Who. The faces on the cards age? Does time for the Guess Who cards move at the same rate as it does for us? Is it faster? Slower? Can Guess Who characters get married? Can Guess Who characters procreate? What is the life expectancy for a Guess Who character? Do Guess Who characters die? And, if so, does the card just turn blank? Or does it become a corpse? Do Guess Who characters bury their dead?
  8. He's just gazillionaire Uncle Rico.
  9. Two things Mark Davis doesn't have time for: Real haircuts and standing still for a tailor.
  10. Three posts back-to-back? jeez, ctj, cool it.
  11. In the future, pls use this meme for your posts:
  12. Username checks out terrifies.
  13. These are funny responses, because the first time I wrote it, I wrote "He could be our next president." And then I was like "Naw, that's too controversial." And then I wrote, "He could be our next Governor." And I deleted that for the same reason. Obviously, I ended up going with senator, but "King of NATO" was my next choice.
  14. Please do not call him a "bitch." He could be our next senator.
  15. Speaking of which (kind of, but not really) does Jason Washington have a gig yet?
  16. I'm just glad he's not staying at Texas Tech. I may be in the minority, but I always thought highly of Naivar (at least relative to most of Herman's other initial staff hires).
