  1. Every time I see a JBJ post, I read it.  He's one of the most reasonable, logical, and respectful posters on this board. JBJ posted a lot of informative information in the DT Covid thread without bringing politics into the equation.  And no, I'm not being sarcastic or taking sides.

Shit I forgot other parts of the idiocy. If he had never thrown the ball to the catcher the run wouldn't have counted even if he got to the plate before Baez was out. In fact, the run wouldn't have counted if the eventual throw to first had beaten Baez.

Total disaster by the Pittsburgh 1B. What's his name so I can hate him forever?

Wild thing is he had two times outs.

This whole little argument / discussion was brought about in the Post Vaxxed Life thread. I have been vaxxed. Everyone I know has been vaxxed. Before I was vaxxed, I wore them out of consideration. After I was vaxxed until about 2 weeks ago,  I wore them because I wanted to comply with businesses - to not be hassled. I don’t even know what you’re arguing about but it seems like you want to fight. So let’s go motherfucker.

I'm not looking to fight.  But, go ahead and do you.  I'm out.

In the cities where masks are mandated, they comply and wear them because they don’t want to get hassled!  Are you this dense?  What point are you making?  You think I’m trolling?

Up until a few weeks ago, I and others, wore them out of consideration.  Because we hadn't been vaxxed - cities are different.  And I comply with business mandates, out of consideration. I'm no Karen.  It's not about getting hassled in my experience, but some may feel that way.

I added no qualifiers. Reread the bolded part of the post of mine you quoted. And attain some reading comprehension, you fucking child.

This part:  "The only reasons the vaxxed people of NYC have for wearing masks is a) they’re retarded or b) they don’t want to get hassled."

Ok, good luck with that reasoning.

Yeah, then those people in those cities don’t want to get hassled, and the retarded people are the municipalities enforcing this. There’s no trolling going on. Look at the text you bolded.  Dumbass.

Yes, the quote I bolded is a blanket statement.  Now, you've added qualifiers and it's more rationale.

You guys with your blanket statements have me thinking:  Texas : Florida :: Chicago : NYC

Is this a serious question?  The only reasons the vaxxed people of NYC have for wearing masks is a) they’re retarded or b) they don’t want to get hassled. I hosted 5 family members in Dallas from the city or Woodstock a few weekends ago. Those in the city were relieved to be out and not wearing masks. They just don’t wanna be hassled.

Absolutely not true for every city.  Businesses in some places still require masks.  Is that so hard to understand?  And stick with me here - the business owners, for the most part, do not want to enforce the mask mandate.

I'm done with this conversation around blanket statements about an entire city being brainwashed or retarded.  Good troll job, though, guys.

My wife flew in for the weekend after the CDC guidance and announcement. Compliance sounds a lot like brainwashing to me doesn't it? Lololol

Compliance is relative to location.  And should be.  IMO.  I wouldn't expect a metropolis to have the same compliance as a small town city.  Are the people of NYC brainwashed too?

My wife is currently in Chicago, apparently it's the opposite of Florida, even with everyone vaccinated they are brainwashed into still wearing masks and a bunch of stupid non-fact based compliance.

I wouldn't say the people of Chicago are brainwashed.  A few things:

    • If your wife has only been there for a few weeks, she's looking through a completely different lens.
    • It's more about compliance as you mentioned.
    • You mentioned earlier that the non-vaxxed people should be shunned or whatever, and that's the mindset in Chicago since the beginning of the pandemic (except with masks instead of vax).
    • It's a lot more inconvenient to get vaccinated if you're living in downtown.  Or, it was up until recently.

Davis seems like more of a Jack based on his build, and we don’t have much after Jones there, so I’ll be surprised if they stick him at X along with Thornton, Dorbah and Ovie rather than have him mix in with Jones.

That's what I was expecting.  Isn't he bigger than Thornton?

I wonder if our staff was ever able to evaluate him themselves, him being at Alabama and all. It's like a state secret.

No way our HC / offensive guru would have any idea what it's like playing against this guy.

So we took 3 edge rushers this offseason. I guess that says all we need to know about the roster. I’m a little worried all 3 are going to be a little JAGish, but none of them have played that much so who knows.

Nah. I bet he’s just sitting in his room eating cheese whizz and throwing away his only chance to start in college and get drafted.

I wasn't insulating that.  Curious if he's been in an S&C program.  There's a big difference between that an individually working out.  Maybe Sark and Saban had an arrangement - just throwing shit on a wall.  That said, it shouldn't make a big difference if he's enrolling in Summer.

Would be nice to get a 6’4” plus big body type (who can catch) in the portal

I'm not sure this offense thrives off big body types, unless they have speed.  Juan Davis may be who you're looking for.  I don't expect him to become a TE overnight, he's already getting reps out wide, and he looks eerily similar to LJ Humphrey.   Also, Omeire might fit the mold you're looking for.

Agreed.  I liked what I saw from him at RT in 2019 a whole lot more than what we saw from Jones in 2020.   I know Jones is the biggest OT and the light theoretically could turn on for him, but ... we'll see.

It doesn't sound like it will happen, but it sure seems like we should find a way to get Crawford into one of the starting DB spots, even if it's at safety or nickel.  He has bigtime early round draft pick athleticism, and we're looking at Jerrin Thompson/Schooler at FS, Foster at SS, and Adimora at nickel.  Offseason strength and conditioning gains wishcasting aside, I'm not sure any of those guys really have above average speed and athleticism for safety or nickel.   I don't know how you justify keeping a guy like Crawford on the bench under those circumstances assuming he can pick up the mental part.

A lot of people forget Kerstetter started at RT above Cosmi as a true freshman.  He was thrown into action early and it may have cost his development.  Can only imagine how good of a tackle he would be if he had the chance to redshirt his FR year.  Another thing - last year, a player and coach said Kerstetter was as athletic as Cosmi.  If he gets back to 100%, he's going to be a valuable asset.

Doesn't help that seemingly a third of the roster has changed their number in the last year.

Add in the fact possibility that we have 3 Thompsons and 2 Johnsons likely to be contributors.  And Cook/Cooks.
