  1. I’d bet dollars to bourbon you could. Newer Beam stuff is good. But older Bookers is in another league.
  2. Meaning they barreled in 1995 the last of his juice and when it came time to bottle 7-8 years later, he died with the last of his own juice. Pretty poetic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Plus or minus with the timing of his death. This is a neat list of every Booker’s http:// https://www.bourbonex.com/forums/topic/265/list-of-all-booker-s-batches Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. $199 Secondary at 230-240
  5. The Volstead? Haven’t tried it yet. But secondary pricing (not THE indicator) suggests not as good.
  6. Yeah. Exactly. He burned his bridge. Literally.
  7. Dude complained about the price and provenance of the juice and live-streamed himself burning the butcher wrapped bottle. Some people won’t touch them now.
  8. Cool. PM me.
  9. I actually picked one up Saturday. That is delicious, if not mired in some controversy.
  10. I am very serious
  11. Yep. Send it to me and give me your PayPal address.
  12. Congrats on winning $1400 At the $100 scratch off.
  13. It’s the fourth release by Booker Noe. When Booker was hand selecting barrels at Beam and gifting them to friends and family. Profile nothing like recent releases.
  14. IMO
  15. I resemble that remark.
  16. Ok. So 1.
  17. RIP sweet Sadie. Tell your sister we miss her too.
  18. I often add a few drops of water to higher proofs, especially 2015 WLW and the hazmat GTS’s. It’s a fascinating evolution to try a sip neat and then along the way as you gradually add drops. The profile changes quite dramatically and you can start picking apart the component flavors. Nothing wrong at all with that.
  19. Sweet Jesus. A late Christmas miracle.
  20. Is it more or less bro if I actually own a Barrett?
  21. Ha. It’s 2011 Handy. Cork broke.
  22. I did trade for quite a bit, but I’d guess you are right if I tallied it.
  23. Sure. It’s called secondary market.
  24. Yeah, some I’ve had for over a decade, Pappy as well. Used o walk in to a store and it was on the shelves.
