  1. The aggy tears on Hill would be so sweet. The blowu tears on Akana, also great.
  2. “Yes it is. You are wrong.” You’re wrong because I said so!!!!
  3. I think Quinn is better, both floor and ceiling. He has a better delivery, throws a more catchable ball (good at varying speeds/angles as necessary), and takes more appropriate risks. I think Arch has better pocket presence and athleticism.
  4. It’s super dumb (and I’m not sure if they changed it) but the way the consensus ratings used to work was they would literally subtract 0.0001 from 1.0000 for how many spots away you were. I.e a consensus #2 player was 0.9997 when there three ratings services. Since then, I think they’ve changed it to weight 247 slightly more and added On3.
  5. Wow Johntay fell 30 spots? Did he botch his last camp appearance or something?
  6. I like Pate. I think he has reasonable/rational takes which is rare in the passion-fueled world of CFB. I like him even more when he agrees with us. To be fair, I feel like if you’re Arch there’s no way to win. If you attend an event and have a bad day, you can only go down in rank. If you don’t attend, you get called “afraid of competition.” I think several people have brought up the argument that many teams, evaluators, and analysts keep talking him up/putting him #1. That’s always worth many times more than some random casual from Tennessee screaming about how his tape sucks.
  7. Josh Pate on Late Kick right now basically calling out USC for overpromising to Addison and A&M probably fracturing their locker room by not delivering the goods to their recruiting class. If this has gone mainstream, definitely not good for those staffs…
  8. iirc he’s on both of looch/perroni’s lists for their pool circlejerk
  9. I don’t know that it even needs to be that complicated. All of the recruiting services say that they rank based on the likelihood of a player making it to the NFL. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.si.com/college/notredame/.amp/recruiting/five-star-recruits-and-the-nfl-draft Based on several years of classes, the relative hit rate on five stars going in the first round is not that great. If you take that even further to QBs, the hit rate is even lower (low single digit %). I think if you just boil it down to the fact that this is a kid who has amazing genes, Hall of Fame guys who have been developing him since he was a kid, and the Manning family name, I think it’s borderline moronic to ascribe a higher likelihood of draft success to any other prospect (especially a QB).
  10. iirc this guy has called some stuff before (think he knows some of the GAs). Not sure why he’d post that except to flex though
  11. I think “ten toes down” is just a phrase that means you’re committed to something. So this could be referring to anyone
  12. You know you’re a bamf if your nickname is “big baby”
  13. for context, that is a comparable 100m time to Evan Stewart
  14. This man needs to STFU and stop setting expectations so high. Or jynxing us. Christ we’re gonna do this again huh.
  15. Yeah, he is a talented kid. Wish him the best of luck and his team the absolute worst.
