  1. Agreed, people keep citing the fact that A&M had two freshman on their line last year when they played Bama but A&M’s left tackle was an upperclassman transfer.
  2. I think his point is that professional sports teams actually have an ownership that ideally would like to make money. If a donor/NIL collective sponsors a player, they are not the “ownership” in this scenario (the school). In fact, the school’s profit is not influenced by the player “payroll”. If you wanna argue that NIL funds not driving on-field success could impact donations, that’s another argument altogether. If you wanna argue a bigger market team having more money is a bad thing for a sport being competitive/“fair”, that’s a pretty subjective issue. But, it is an objective fact that this is an advantage for Texas right now and I am all for it.
  3. That’s rather fitting given who Jesus’ 12th disciple was
  4. I’d give it 2-3 days before the kool aid starts flowing and we hear from the practice reports about how Banks/Williams/Umeozulu are the next Sam Cosmi and Campbell could play anywhere on the line.
  5. I can’t wait for the TexAgs dumpster fire that comes out of us being the hardest game of the year for Alabama and aggy being their easiest
  6. Pretty cool that we are his first offer. Herb Hand could never
  7. It’s gonna be a real tough pill to swallow for these guys when they go 7-5 or 8-4 after being ranked 5 preseason and hyping themselves up this much
  8. Isn’t this the general university athletics account? Not sure they’d be tweeting like this about a football transfer.
  9. By Looch standards, it would ring true to some as the word of God
  10. Sark is going to have a completely new team next year: https://www.google.com/amp/s/theathletic.com/news/college-football-25-initial-counter-rules/1Z0lztonTBTr/%3Famp%3D1
  11. Pretty sure he’s sticking around just to get his McCombs degree and solidify that Sark pedigree now. Not many better business schools with good football programs.
  12. Jordan Addison’s brother. We are making him feel at home/treating him just as well as Jordan or better.
  13. Well I guess that’s that, then? Although a four day visit is probably longer than most people expected this to go. Perhaps this will be an Ochaun Mathis situation but in our favor.
