Is this another form of your humor?

Complaining about nurses' salaries during a pandemic? Forest-trees???

Fyi, everyone is paying the bills.

Your knowledge of this appears limited, but think about this next time you complain about "someone not knowing what they're talking about" on a topic.

I think he’s just stating a fact as evidenced by the below:

Also, I’m not sure your statement that “everyone pays the bills” is valid here. Hospitals/hospital administrators pay the bills. My boss’ wife is a hospital admin in NYC and she’s said that a lot of Northeast hospitals have struggled to be profitable because of problems with labor retention and wage inflation. I would imagine that’s the case in many places around the country. When hospitals aren’t profitable and they start closing, that’s a problem for everybody.

Maybe you should think about this the next time you complain about someone’s knowledge being limited.

They won't do shit.  If the hammer comes, it will likely be from the IRS as these people are probably not reporting this as taxable income.  If it's bag money, the donors are probably lying about what the money was spent on.

The IRS is not going to come after these guys unless the donors themselves are committing other tax fraud as well. As crazy as it sounds $300-500K is not going to get the IRS to spend resources auditing/building a case against someone. They have billionaires/millionaires they would rather go after who get away with larger check sizes. If aggy was dumb enough to have the entire amount for all the players run through one person I could see that becoming an issue though.

You know you've made it when @closetojumping feels threatened enough to denigrate and misrepresent you, but also not tag you. His claims and the receipts are all below so you can see for yourself. I guess he twists what I say because he agrees with me or because he thinks he can embarrass me. What is the value of embarrassing people here by misrepresenting them?

Some of you may know closetojumping in real life. Is he a name-calling bully who elevates himself by putting others down? Does he misunderstand simple prose or does he just lie about what he hears? He brags about his leadership and power. I know leaders who act like him in real life. I find them childish, and it generally doesn't end well for them.

I edited his post, leaving out the name-calling, so it would make sense with what I actually said. You can look up the posts if you want to. They're here.

    1) the OU offense will be better without Riley

    CJT claims quigley said
    3) defending Ted Roof as some sort of wizardesque mirage of a DC as a front for Venables
    5) Jay Valai will fucking crush it at OU

    CJT claims quigley said

    2) Caleb Williams would have walked on to be at OU
    4) repeated obsessive posts about how much he loves Caleb Williams while clearly vacillating offline between sobbing hysterically in a corner and beating the absolute shit out of the Caleb Williams doll he’s been making gentle love to for the past two years

Yeah, I did say that Williams would have walked on at OU, because Williams has said this and multiple others around him have too. Do I feel like there may be hyperbole about his desire to be in Norman, sure. But it's been reported. Should we take your word?

What I do with my Caleb Williams doll is my business and my business alone.

@immamac I take back what I said. This is must-see entertainment.

Quite the opposite. I'll remain a Caleb Williams fan, but I'm happy that the drama surrounding him ended with a QB that fits the new offense.

Plus OU got Todd Bates today!

Sad is not this man losing Caleb Williams from the team. Sad is him coming here to talk about it. Man writes paragraph after paragraph about OU football on a Texas site. That’s like an OU fan posting up at Cain and Abel’s on the reg. What did your homies do to you? I’m half joking but also half curious.

Not sure if he’s a take given the number of HS kids coming in on OL but third year guy that was pretty highly rated coming out of high school.

ND guys saying he had a pretty bad knee injury that he hasn’t quite recovered from.

We already did the starter quality player at QB, so check.

We took 7 freshman OL. We probably won't take a transfer OL unless an all-Big XII caliber guy drops from the sky

Our DL should be fine. Maybe grab an edge rusher, if (again) an all conference pass-rush specialist shows up.

DB should be fine. We have plenty of options to sort through.

TE should be fine. We have lots of youth to put out on the field.

Really, we are just desperate at LB.

Aside from the customary fuck the Brocks, is there still smoke on them transferring? I remember that picking up steam but then people started saying to wait until after the NC game. Gotta think Tommy B is worth adding to the roster + the entire family loves Flood.
