  1. Consider he has only had one person as his head coach for high school and two colleges? Who knows how he will react and/or respond when he is coached by anyone else other than Dad
  2. We should expect to see Sanders playing and Deion coaching for the Iowa Barnstormers in the very near future?
  3. Interesting as Hunter really didn't attend receiver meetings at CU and when it came to offense it was very basic stuff and they depended upon his athletic ability to be better than the guy trying to guard him. That sounds perfect for the NFL. I really want this trade and pick to blow up on Jacksonville after listening to the buzz word laden crap spew out by the their 12-year old GM.
  4. Agree with one caveat. Thirty-forty years ago a kid like Ward would be heard from in college and possibly after, but with a different career path. One most Horns should be well aware of, the same pathway that took high school quarterback Jerry Gray to an all time great in Austin and the HOF in Canton.
  5. Same school with a few of those kids back, think the running back who is going to OU. Even without Jelani Watkins and the other seniors they have plenty of athletes and finished second in a pretty decent district that featured GPNS and Summer Creek.
  6. East Bernard ran the Slot T in 2012-13 when the won a state title. I have seen it most in smaller schools and it can be really effective. Think Fulshear ran it this year and they beat they shit out of a number of schools before they got beat by Atascosita. They ran for some crazy number, maybe over 450 ypg and then threw for just over a 100 a game. That coach has since gone onto Klein and it will be interesting to see if he runs it there.
  7. Another geographic laugh and no, i am not spoiler alerting this shit because if you are surprised by anything on this show you are a dumbass. Sherriff in Ransom Canyon which is supposedly 1 hour drive from Plainview is given a tip about a chop shop in Bandera where a truck involved in a fatal accident was taken for repair. That is over 400 miles? Haven't screenwriters learned from the Simpsons and not give specific geographic points of reference.
  8. Yes, they and how many other NFL teams have found themselves in the cycle of burning through picks to try to find a competent quarterback? The numbers are staggering in how many bad quarterbacks have been drafted in the first round and yet we see teams repeat the process again and again and again and why? If your ultimate goal is to play for a title you have to have a quarterback who can have success in your system. So how do you find that guy? The track record is there for playing for a title and outside of Brady and Purdy the quarterbacks who have played in that game have come primarily from the first round and a large part are the first part of the first round. Hell, even the "retread" guys like Flacco were high draft picks. Foles was a 3rd round pick. The reality is that there is one hole you can scheme around in the current NFL and this is why we see teams continually reach for quarterbacks.
  9. The same reason why the Cowboys drafted Rod Hill in the first round, Cleveland drafted Manziel, Indy drafted Richardson a few years back, etc...... maybe the team thinks they see something no one else does, maybe they think they can be the team to put the player in the best situation to maximize their talent, or maybe they feel the need to take the gamble to fill a hole in their roster. As noted, the Steelers have fucking Mason Rudolph and Skyler Thompson as their quarterbacks and while we know what their NFL floor is we also know what their ceiling is and it isn't much higher. Sanders might have a much lower floor, he might even implode everything at Pittsburgh, but he also could be better and if it doesn't work then it is time to make a complete change. Remember that Sanders at quarterback is going to be cheaper than any free agent quarterback and if you are the Steelers and need money elsewhere why tie money up in shitty free agents who aren't going to get you where you want to go as an organization.
  10. Time to make Marty Smith a regular at the desk so he can fawn over Saban or salvage the CWS by giving Carl Ravech the job to simply smile and waive like Corso the last few years. Then again I haven't really watch Game Day much since Rece Davis took over as host.
  11. Tomlin has been as close to being bullet proof as any NFL could possibly be with 17 years under his belt. During that time he has dealt with more than a few headcases off the field and Pittsburgh might actually be a good market for the Sanders family traveling circus. Hell, the Steelers currently have who at quarterback? Mason Rudolph, Skyler Thompson, and ? Roll the damn dice and if it blows up it might be the perfect time to reset at HC and turn over the roster with Watt and Heyward getting near the end of their time in the NFL. Besides, who wouldn't want to see Myles Garrett get to chase Sanders twice a year with the way Shedeur hold onto the ball.
  12. That and the uniform of the player immediately to his left. My feet hurt just looking at those high top canvas Converse that had absolutely no cushion or support to them.
  13. Apparently somewhere that you can drive to Plainview in one hour which means it isn't the Hill Country. I know that detail because my wife watches this thing as a replacement until Virgin River comes back. The show was shot near Santa Fe and Las Vegas, New Mexico which once again would explain all those really tall trees one hour from Plainview.
  14. He is one of the those players who I ponder from time to time what he would have done in college and the NFL today with the spread offenses and rule changes for defenses.
  15. So that is where KD learned to use a fake burner.
  16. How dare you question the integrity of Max and the quality of the information he would provide on recruits. Who else would tell you who was the the fifth best left handed pulling guard who was perfect for an option based offense? Max on the radio was comedy gold.
  17. Cowboys drafts in 1980-1983 are proof of this as Brandt turned out an incredible list of who the fuck was that picks. He did finally get the first round pick right with Jim Jeffcoat.
  18. Easy answer would be the number of races the are overly dependent upon the results of qualifying. If only they would reduce the size of the cars enough to make passing truly possible in most of the races.
  19. So no Fallow and Newey is off in the lab so to speak who is running the day to day race operations for Aston. Cowell?
  20. Marko has 'great concern' over Verstappen future Son-in-law sent this to me today and while there is nothing new I am curious how this will wear on the RBR team as the season progresses if there isn't improvement. Comments are good for a laugh as well.
  21. My fuck up, no way to deny it. Might not be a Red Bull pit stop level fuck up, but still not good. Speaking of not good, was there ever a good explanation of why the electronics for multiple cars and multiple systems went to shit this weekend?
  22. You forgot the part about how he somehow moved from The Woodland's zone to Galena Park North Shore for his senior season after the big quarterback prospect from The Woodland's graduated the prior year.
  23. Russ Brawn might have had a small part in all of that as well as Schumacher.
  24. Fuck ESPN, seriously fuck ESPN for buying the rights to everything and then burying things on your 18 different outlets. I go to watch qualifying which I have recorded on You Tube TV and I get FUCKING KNIFE THROWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
